Guest cynicalprofit Posted December 4, 2002 Report Posted December 4, 2002 He's had time off, but what about his neck? He'll what about his knees. They should make him the comminisher and due the character of Austin, but no wrestling. His body is pretty shot from what I remember. But what condition do you think he'll be in?
Guest Brian Posted December 4, 2002 Report Posted December 4, 2002 He has a ring in his house and supposedly he's in the best shape ever since coming to the WWE. The rest should do him well.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted December 4, 2002 Report Posted December 4, 2002 They should make him the comminisher and do the character of Austin That would be pretty pointless.
Guest The Tino Standard Posted December 4, 2002 Report Posted December 4, 2002 Austin has been off since May. Plenty of time to heal up and work out. Yeah, I'd say he's going to be pretty damn close to 100%. This isn't like his injury rehab, where he had to work himself into shape after months of being inactive. This whole period he's been out, he hasn't been injured, he's got to be in pretty good shape. If he comes back, I'd say he'll be in top-notch condition.
Guest Choken One Posted December 4, 2002 Report Posted December 4, 2002 Yeah, Seeing him on tv...He looks maybe BETTER then he did when he left.
Guest bob_barron Posted December 4, 2002 Report Posted December 4, 2002 Ummm why would Steve Austin be in a non-wrestling role considering the character of Steve Austin is an ass-kicking bad ass SOB. And why bring him back if he's not gonna wrestle
Guest cynicalprofit Posted December 4, 2002 Report Posted December 4, 2002 Aren't wrestlers not suppose to hit Austin on the head or neck?
Guest bob_barron Posted December 4, 2002 Report Posted December 4, 2002 Well yea but what's your point?
Guest Dr. Wrestlingphysics Posted December 4, 2002 Report Posted December 4, 2002 It wasn't too long before he left that he was having great matches with the likes of Benoit and Angle, and his ringwork only suffered through lack of self motivation rather than age or injury when he was stuck against the likes of the nWo every week, so it's not like he was broken down and washed up before he left. If he's been using his time off the train, and heal any nagging injuries, he should be at least at 2000/2001 level, if not better.
Guest cynicalprofit Posted December 4, 2002 Report Posted December 4, 2002 Well yea but what's your point? Point is a guy that messed up shouldnt be wrestling.
Guest bob_barron Posted December 4, 2002 Report Posted December 4, 2002 The guy can take 10 German suplexes so he's not that messed up. And just last year he was having great matches week in and week out
