Konnan has heat with Vince McMahon from about a decade ago, when he bailed on the WWE after a lot of money was invested in the Max Moon character for him. credit: Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter WHY WHY WHY? Konnan? Why? Is it the tired promos or the boring ring work? Or maybe it's that played-out 1998 character. Is this some "He's a leader among the Mexicans" crap, which is I think why WCW liked him so much? If so, the ONLY good thing that could come out of this is if it leads to Juvi and Psychosis getting signed and on TV. And that Vince McMahon sure holds a grudge, don't he? I mean, Max Moon was a fucking stupid-ass idea in the first place, and I don't blame Konnan for bailing on that one, but geez. Oh wait, I forgot the contractually-obligated Triple H tie-in. Um...okay, got one: It's funny how Vince won't hire guys with whom he has heat from 10 years ago, but Triple H dates his daughter--which Vince was totally against in any shape or form at one point--and gets rewarded with a lifelong main event pass and his own two-hour show on Mondays.

(Except when they kept playing his damn videos for like a year straight!)Although the Filthy Animals was one of my favorite stables....I think it would be wise to keep Rey and Konnan as seperate people. Since Rey is considered an uppercard player...and Konnan would prolly just be stuck in midcard. I can see him getting a nice following, he can get some good pops.
