"Problem" With IE

Recommended Posts

Guest treble charged

Ok, I'm running Internet Explorer (version whatever) with Windows XP, and whenever I see an image that I want to save, I can't save it in its original format. JPEG or GIF, I need to save it as a .bmp file and then convert it in PaintShopPro, or whatever.

Is there anyway I can change this?

get XnView to convert the files, its freeware that can convert almost every type of image file.

uh..but I dont think thats the original problem.

I remember having that problem with IE 5.5, but I haven't had it with IE 6 (The one that comes with XP)...I never did fix it, I just upgraded to XP which fixed it by default..

Delete your temporary internet files. For some reason it does that ot me if I don't keep it cleaned out regularly.
