Guest nikowwf Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Um, RVD? Hello? No RVD match? Jackie's on the freaking PPV and RVD is not. Regal and Storm (I love Storm btw) who are frighteningly not over are on the PPV. There will be lesbian action at the PPV. There will be a 97,000 minute HHH match that I do not give a flying f*ck about at the PPV. All 900 pounds of Big Show has a match at the PPV. Albert and his big unover self have a match at the PPV. (it seems, at least) But they could not think of one freaking thing for RVD to do on the PPV? You know, if hes in trouble or something fire his ass already so at least we know the reason. But to keep him in a prominent mid card position at Raw and not even give him a damn match or angle at the show is retarded at such a high level. (and btw, if he is in trouble, i wonder why that is...) niko
Guest EricMM Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 I think they'll announce on SD! or HeAT about a tag match, Kane and RVD vs. 3 Minute Warning. That's what I guess.
Guest eirejmcmahon Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 and btw, if he is in trouble, i wonder why that is... He shot himself in the foot by fucking up so badly in the Elimination Chamber match.
Guest Mazelmavin Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 HHH screwed HHH. When RVD went up for his splash, HHH moved closer to the corner. Thats why the 5* didn't land right, RVD did not have enough room to fully extend his body and clear the ring post. When HBK went up, HHH remained more towards the center of the ring; he had clearly learned his lesson on the physics of flying men.
Guest geniusMoment Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Many months ago scherer reported that RVD was unhappy in the wwe and would probably leave when his contract came up, this was when rob was getting the mega push. Rob just doesn't like the wwe's way of doing things. I usually never listen to 1bullshit but when it comes to ECW guys scherer is usually right because those are the people he actually has connections with. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Rob just leaves when his contract ends in about 16 months. Rob has always been a different type of person backstage and the company hasn't even attempted to resign him
Guest Kinetic Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 As Scott Keith made sure to note, it's pretty stupid to have Kane & RVD team up against 3 Minute Warning when Kane's already beat them singlehandedly. But, whatever. It's obvious that very little thought or effort has gone into booking this PPV. For the first time all year, I ain't shilling out $35 for this shit.
Guest The Tino Standard Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Poor RVD... Perfectly willing to sacrifice his career aspirations by trying to maim HHH (a move that would have him immortalized by smarks everywhere) and instead, he misses by just a LITTLE bit, HHH is back a couple weeks later and RVD is buried like a dog bone. Valiant effort, Rob, but sad to say now, it was nice knowing you while you lasted.
Guest AndrewTS Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 If NWA TNA nabs RVD and ditches that worthless piece of shit Russo, then I'll bank up the dough to check it out.
Guest the 1inch punch Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Rob will run all the way to Japan, mark my words
Guest EricMM Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 If RVD won the NWA-TNA title, would that be the first world title he's ever held? It would be funny if both ECW and WWE misused him and he went on to make TNA massive amounts of money. As though HHH is a better draw than rob... hah!!

If NWA-TNA gets a national TV deal, and fires that fuckhead Russo, look out WWE... Hell, WWE is making a bunch of cuts so the issues of money won't even be a factor.
Guest Grenouille Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Rob will run all the way to Japan, mark my words I fully agree here. He was in Japan back in 2001 before he came in to the WWF, and I think he'll go back. It's funny that even in '01 RVD was pretty much still considered a light weight in Japan.
