Guest notJames Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 From Online Onslaught: Also on SD! shows this weekend: the artist formerly known as Little Guido debuted as "Nunzio" and teamed with Jamie Noble on the Saturday show (he reprised the role of Guido, however, when he teamed with Crash Holly on Sunday night)... So James Maritato will be slated for the role of Jamie Noble's ass-kicking cousin. Should be interesting if he reverts to his comedic FBI ways as opposed to his later, more serious shooter persona. Does this bode well for the cruiserweight division? Well, if JR says they're due for a push, then I'm convinced!
Guest Redhawk Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 I thought Nunzio would be a big guy, and therefore I figured Bull Buchanan would be a good choice. He's big, athletic, and Southern. But he's doing that stupid "B-Squared" thing now. So then I thought Big Bossman. But then that scared me. So why do they have an Italian guy playing Nunzio when they could have had someone more naturally Southern to play the role?

I'm thinking he's going to be a straight man for Knoble to play off... Maybe nuizno is only crazy to the rednecks because he's different... They should play him off as a suit and tie
Guest notJames Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 And there's no guarantee that Nunzio is going to be a Southern character, either. Who's to say that he isn't Jamie's crazy cousin from New York? It's not as if Nunzio is a popular Southern name like Joe Jack or Billy Bob.

They way they're building up Nunzio, though, is that he's some kind of motivation for Jamie Noble. It just seems that someone like Noble would be inspired by his also-hothead cousin who he wants to be like.

And I like the idea that he could be some kind of role model for Jamie, which would add another layer to his character. Funny how most of the good character development has been on SmackDown! and not on RAW. Did I say funny? I meant horribly pathetic.

How could you assume such a thing in the first place. I know it's a lame comic relief deal for when Little Guido shows up...but come on

He was always one of the better workers from ECW and is one hell of a seller as well. Personally I wish Tony Mamaluke was joining the WWE too because the FBI would make an awesome addition to the tag team division.
