Hulk Hogan was at Smackdown last night. He arrived at the show with Jimmy Hart and was seen talking backstage with Eric Bischoff, The Big Show and Paul Heyman. I know that he briefly met with Vince McMahon at the show as well.

Hogan appeared on the Bubba The Love Sponge Show today. Hogan was talking about his book tour. He then said that he was at Smackdown last night and ran into Vince. He said Vince wished they could do more for Hogan's book promotion and Hogan said he took it to mean that if he was back on TV, they would hype it up more.

He didn't want to lose to Brock at Survivor Series. But what if Brock had hit him with the book?

Cole: "Oh my god, Tazz. Brock hit Hogan with his brand new book available in all good book stores NOW!"

Tazz: "Yeah Cole, man thats gonna be a sweet book, I gonna get it for sure, wicked!"

Cole: "So the winner of the match is Brock Lesnar! And he used the brand new Hulk Hogan book which is available in all good book stores RIGHT NOW!!!"

You forgot that Tazz would call the book a "rocket buster"

Hogan v. Vince at Wrestlemania 19 it's the only thing left for him to do in the WWE. Although given the fact that Big Show won the title at Survivor Series they might as well had Hogan come back and win it. It can't be any worse. And maybe then he would've dropped it to someone like Eddie. Oh well, all speculation.

Hogan is making an appearance in Toronto soon to promote the book. I should go and start a "We want Austin" chant.

I hope this is beginning of Hogan's return to the WWE. After his last run, it left me wanting more.

My thoughts exactly. I hope he returns, and has a match against Vince at Wrestlemania 19.

Fuck Vince. That should be his last feud in WWE IMO. I'd rather see him have another successful run with the company before winding it down.

Hogan's run wasn't a hit simply because he didn't have in place what has made him a hit before...

...a meaningfull, emotional, storyline.

Had The Rock turned heel to fued with Hogan, then I guaren-damn-tee that he would have been a huge hit.

Not to be rude or anything, but why do you want this match? It seems that WWE was intent on it for a while, and lots of other people wanted it after that too.

I just don't understand it though. Obviously the match itself would suck beyond belief. Vince is god awful in the ring. Also, this definitely pushes the "supension of disbelief" thing way too far--it's hard enough to believe that a non-wrestler like Vince could hang with a legend like Flair, but at least Vince is bigger than Flair. However Hogan is not only a legend, he has no-sold countless monsters like Zeus, Earthquake, Yokozuna, etc., and he dwarfs Vince. If Hogan has no-sold Undertaker before, how in the world could the offense of a goof like Vince faze him? From a mark's perspective, this just doesn't make any sense.

There seem to be plenty more potential Hogan match-ups which would be a lot more intriguing to both the hardcore and casual fans, than Hogan-McMahon. And that awkward match-up should most certainly not take place at the biggest event of the year, IMO.

It just boils down to people simply wanting to see Hulk Hogan kicking Vince's ass around, and nothing more. I wouldn't mind seeing it just for the hell of it, even though the match would have no chance at being anything of the such that Vince/Flair had.

I say Hogan Vs. Austin for this coming WM, it would be fantastic.

That's a dead end match right there. Hogan vs. Austin has no upside other than a one-time buyrate.

That's probably what WWE is looking for.
