Guest Paranoid Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 Here's the link... WrestleZone.com This seems legit. I read alot of articles from here and I can pretty much tell the reals from the fakes. Has anyone else heard this?
Guest Paranoid Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 Here is the whole article... Austin returning next year! I guess it is legit. Sweet!
Guest MixxMaster Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 Gawd, I hope not...there's enough guys being held down. Do you honestly think that we'll get the Austin who will put others over, do more than punch-kick-stunner the whole lockerroom, and can actually deliver a promo that is devoid of What's and old cliche's from '97??? I didn't think so, so let the wife abuser just sit out and play with the ball he went home with...that spoiled lil' shit.
Guest RickyChosyu Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 Feh...Austin worked with Benoit, Angle and Jericho more than he needed to, and he certainly was more willing to actually feud with the young guys more than the current Locker Room Leaders. Besides, it's all about the money. If the MchMahons think Austin is the key to improving things, he'll be back ASAP.
Guest NoCalMike Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 Yah, no doubt he will be back. Of course it is likely he will leave again shortly when no one cares about him anymore aftr 2 weeks. If anything, Austin coming back will spark the return of Vince to Raw which will make the show even worse(yah it CAN still get worse). Whenever wrestlers leave on bad terms, then come back to recapture the "magic" it is NEVER the same. Once Rock left for hollywood, his impact was NEVER the same. That is why when he returns he will most likely be FORCED to go heel since no one cares about him anymore.
Guest RickyChosyu Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 I seem to recall Austin going out on a long hiatus due to his injury and returning to have better matches than he'd had in years. There's no "rule" that says he'll be worthless when he comes back. Use some rational beyond "it's happened before, so it'll happen again!" please.
Guest BoboBrazil Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 ''If all we did was catfights, it would be meaningless,'' Dunn said. ''It's like a child eating chocolate cake,'' where presumably the audience is the child and Dawn and Torrie's catfight is the chocolate cake. ``We'll do one catfight. If we did two or three, it would mean less.'' Dunn is a moron. We see women fighting nearly every show now.
Guest creativename Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 Stephanie McMahon has charisma, as do The Rock and Steve Austin. They can also act, and the better your acting, the faster you move up the WWE food chain. ... I don't even have to bother.
Guest KingOfOldSchool Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 ... said WWE star Matt Hardy. ``But now, if you don't have charisma, you won't go to the peak.'' Sure you will.
Guest notJames Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 ''I don't worry about those who don't get it,'' Heyman continued. "I worry about satisfying those who do.'' - Paul Heyman If Heyman can get it, why can't Vinnie Mac?
Guest bob_barron Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 Do you honestly think that we'll get the Austin who will put others over When did Austin put someone else over?
Guest bob_barron Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 He only lost to Angle that one time by pin/submission and it was that stupid hand under the rope thing. One could say he helped Jericho but I think Rock did much more for Jericho then Austin
Guest RickyChosyu Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 Austin worked with Benoit, Angle, and Jericho just as much as could be expected of him. Just because none of those experiments WORKED doesn't mean he wasn't willing.
