Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 Ok we know that the WWE inflates everything. And wrestlers heights are one of these. But I was wondering if anyone knew the legit heights of some of WWE's "big men". Like UT,Kane,Albert, Big Show, and Batista among others. I mean are any of them really as tall as WWE claims? Oh yeah I'm legit 6'4" 250lbs.. I wonder if I was in WWE if I would be pushed as "a 6'9", 300 pound monster!!!"
Guest caboose Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 You would probably be pushed at Rocky's stats cos, I believe Rocky is actually your stats.
Guest AfricanAmerican Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 I think the heights they give are pretty accurate. From what I can remember Big show is supposed to be 7'4", Kane 7', UT 6'10", Albert 6'6"
Guest MillenniumMan831 Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 I think they LOVE to exaggerate the weight of wrestlers, but as for the height, a general 1-2 inch boost may be the best you'd get.
Guest AndrewTS Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 I think the heights they give are pretty accurate. From what I can remember Big show is supposed to be 7'4", Kane 7', UT 6'10", Albert 6'6" No. Show is billed as 7', Kane as 6'9", Taker as about that height, and Albert as 6'8".
Guest Downhome Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 This biggest exageration would have to be Andre the Giant, just for the record.
Guest AndrewTS Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 This biggest exageration would have to be Andre the Giant, just for the record. His joints compressed so he "shrank" as he got older, and at WMIII he may have stood about 7', since he wasn't much taller than Hogan. However, I'm sure that his max height was certainly beefed up.
Guest IB2BLACK Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 Also, Hogan height was exagerated. When I was younger, and I shook Hogan's hand at the Capital Center, I thought he was a giant, larger than life.
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 I'm pretty sure that Kane is legit 6' 8", but wore lifts in his boots to make him 7'. If he's currently billed at 6' 9", I doubt he does anymore.
Guest Anglesault Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 I heard that Adre wasn't too much larger than Earnie Ladd.
Guest geniusMoment Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 torch said big show is a legit 6'10"
Guest Downhome Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 torch said big show is a legit 6'10" There is no way that one is true.
Guest CanadianChick Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 torch said big show is a legit 6'10" There is no way that one is true. agreed. Seeing Benoit and Show toe to toe, Show is more than a foot tallers than him and Benoit is 5'10".
Guest LatinoHeat Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 was the Giant Gonzalez really 8 feet?
Guest Mole Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 Andre was 7 feet tall and weighed around 400lbs. There is no way Show is 7'4". I don't think Show is bigger than Andre.
Guest CanadianChick Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 I think Show is actuallu about 7"1' or 7"2'.
ChrisMWaters Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 was the Giant Gonzalez really 8 feet? No, but he was VERY close.
ChrisMWaters Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 Andre was 7 feet tall and weighed around 400lbs. There is no way Show is 7'4". I don't think Show is bigger than Andre. Andre was billed as 7'5"
Guest Downhome Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 TBS is closer to 7'4 than an even 7, I know someone who used to know him. As for Giant Gonzalez, he was 7'10 I do believe.
Guest subliminal_animal Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 Gonzalez is 7'7". He's listed in that big hardcover Guiness Book of World Records for 1999 as Tallest Professional Wrestler or something. I know that whatever the record was doesn't sound like a real one, just one they made up because he's a interesting piece of trivia. I believe it also mentions he enjoys his retirement living on his farm in Argentina. Anyway, the heights and weight are big lies in a lot of cases. No way Jeff Hardy is over 200. And Test was once billed as 7 feet, but he's not much bigger than Triple H. It's just the legs.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 Weights must be made up on the fly or something. Undertaker's weight changes whether he's champ or not. On an episode of Velocity, Shannon Moore was announced at 202. One week prior to that, they were saying 180.
ChrisMWaters Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 Weights must be made up on the fly or something. Undertaker's weight changes whether he's champ or not. Well, not really. Until recently, he was called in at 328 pounds, IIRC.
ChrisMWaters Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 Here's something else I wonder... Why don't they ever mention female wrestler heights, weights, and hometowns? Is it so hard to do?
Guest caboose Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 It's not polite to reveal a woman's statistics.
Guest TheyCallMeMark Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 Yeah I think the statistics might be more than a little exagerated. I've met the Rock and the Undertaker, and they didn't really seem tall, at all. Maybe 6'2, 6'4 at best.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 Well I remember reading in Sex Lies and Headlocks that Andre was about 6'11". And i knew the thing about Kane having lifts in his boots. UT seems to actually be the only one being billed at his legit height b/c that fucker is tall.

Tajiri's weight jumped from the high hundred-somethings (in ECW) to two-hundred something in WWF when he came there not long after ECW. TAKA was billed as being 200 lbs. It's ALL exaggerated, trust me.
Guest SP-1 Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 Molly Holly is from here in SC, only about 30-45 minutes from where I live. She got a hometown pop from the Charleston crowd at RAW here. And I've met Big Show. He's f'ing tall. 7'2"-3" , but he's taller than 7.

If I lived that close to her (assuming she goes back home when she has time off), I'd probably be stalking the poor girl. I know Chris would be. As for Show--why would they announce him as being shorter than he really is?
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 I dunno. You could think that he's over 7" when he's only like 6'10" because it's really rare to see people that big. I know I'm only 6'4". I say only because I'm so used to gigantic wrestlers but everyone tells me I'm f'n huge.
