Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 WMANIA Doesn't sound like its anything special and was probably sent out to everyone. I received it via email for being on some mailing list. Edit: Tickets go on sale Monday for those with the password, January 11th for everyone else. Edit part II: Ticket prices are $15, $25, $45, $60, $75, $100 and for $400 you sit ringside and get to keep your commemorative chair.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 So, how am I supposed to use this? Thanks for sharing, btw.
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 Monday at 10am go to wwe.com or www.ticketmaster.com/promo1913 and enter the password when asked.
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 Where is WM this year? Seattle's Safeco Field edit: Safeco Field seats 46,000+
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 Monday at 10am There a timezone on that? Yeah, I'm anal like that. Thanks again.

Guest Jobber of the Week Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 Ah. Good. You have now earned the title of "Jobber of the Week's Favorite Poster." If you wish, feel free to let the world know by adding that to your signature, or including it in your professional resume, or using it as a pick-up line to get women at parties.

I'll tell my wife and see if I can get the once a month kick down a little early this month.
Guest candie45 Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 Only $400 for ringside? Wow... last year it was $600.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 Wasn't that $600 Canadian, though? Still ridiculous, though. Especially since there's no way I could get a steel chair packed into my suitcase or through the airport ("It's my carry-on, officer.")
Guest TheArchiteck Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 Ringside tickets are entirely too high for common folks like me. Besides i'm saving up for the SuperBowl in Detroit in 2006.
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 See, I shouldn't care about this, but it's guys like you that kill any chances of getting tickets for those who actually take the time to line up. Last year there was nothing left because some jackass let the password out early. I see this years title has already been taken. (Yes, I am still bitter about last year. Pay no mind.)
Guest Hayabusa Moleman Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 Thank you greatly, I haven't gotten a password yet despite receiving last year's.
Guest LatinoHeat Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 Ringside tickets are entirely too high for common folks like me. Besides i'm saving up for the SuperBowl in Detroit in 2006. Where will the SuperBowl be held in the next few years? link?
Guest The Hollywood Fashion Plate Posted January 4, 2003 Report Posted January 4, 2003 According to this... 2004- Super Bowl XXXVIII: Reliant Stadium, Houston, TX (2/1/04) 2005- Super Bowl XXXIX: Alltel Stadium, Jacksonville, FL (2/6/05) 2006- Super Bowl XL: Ford Field, Detroit, MI (2/5/06)
Guest Brian Posted January 4, 2003 Report Posted January 4, 2003 Thanks to not having to travel, I'll definately be shooting for the best seats possible.

Last year there was nothing left because some jackass let the password out early. I see this years title has already been taken. (Yes, I am still bitter about last year. Pay no mind.) Huh. The WWE wants the password to be spread so that anyone who finds it one way or another, will think that they'll get good seats. It's just an effective marketing strategy. Plus, if you line up at the box office you're dumb anyway. On-line is the way to go.
Guest bravesfan Posted January 4, 2003 Report Posted January 4, 2003 <---Saving up for Wrestlemania 20.
Guest Brian Posted January 4, 2003 Report Posted January 4, 2003 They only put a limited, selected number of tickets on sale anyways. It's not like they're going to sell out everything.
Guest Brian Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Does the link not start working until 10:00?
Guest bradolson Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Don't forget that a lot of people (myself included) are going to be trying to get good seats to resell on eBay with no intention of ever going to Seattle. For events in Washington state, there are no restrictions for listing on eBay and getting as much as possible for the tickets, so expect a lot of tickets to end up on eBay.
Guest Brian Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 There will be on Mania. I've talked in the past with Sims (County admin) about how they're handling scalpers.
Guest Brian Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 We're in the same section. So far. I might get beeter tickets.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 Well, I already paid. Row 5 here. What you? EDIT: I would /not/ want to be moved to the floor. A friend of mine was at X8, and they phoned him and asked if he wanted to move from the nosebleed seats to the last few rows of the floor. He declined, obviously.
Guest Brian Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 If I can get within the first five rows on a set that's facing the ring, I'll take it. Row 7.
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 Tickets for WrestleMania in Seattle went on sale this morning at 10AM PT and appear to be selling fast. The show will take place in the 70,000 seat SafeCo Field, which means that WWE will have to work hard to fill up the venue. Again, the password needed to buy tickets right now is WMANIA. For those fans upset at sites giving away the password, even WWE has posted the password at WrestleMania.com, so it isn't exactly a big secret. Credit: 1wrestling.com
Guest bradolson Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 I was able to get a couple pairs of nice seats. One pair already sold on eBay for a nice profit, and the other should do pretty well as well. Hopefully the regular on-sale will work out just as well.
