BTW, I've subscribed to both on and off for years and the Observer seems to be more worth it.

Get the forty issue deal with the Observer so you can get the two back issues free. $90. The Torch is cheaper. Torch has a cleaner presentation, Observer's generally more in-depth. Torch has the Torch Talks which are great, Observer covers a larger base in it's news.

I just subscribed to both for the first time a couple weeks ago. Go to www.liveaudiowrestling.com/wo/ and www.pwtorch.com for info on subscription rates since theyre different depending on how many you want to order and they always have specials. Here's my synopsis of them:

The Pro Wrestling Torch focuses more on WWE and NWA TNA news (meaning very little on Japan, Mexico or shoot fighting), has more opinion articles and a bigger focus on news and rumors. It's easier to read (better formatted) too. Since I'm not into anything else besides WWE/NWA-TNA I like this one the best. Plus they have Torch Talk interviews which are shoot interviews (they just had one with Hulk Hogan over 5 issues). Another great thing about the Torch is the free VIP email service. Free with subscription you get emails throughout the week of exclusive articles from the staff that don't appear on the site.

The Wrestling Observer focuses on everything including in depth coverage of Japan, Mexico and shoot fighting, and has extensive results from all shows, with less of a news and articles format than a results with opinion format. The Obeserver also usually features one long feature article as the focus of the issue. It's a little more expensive and not as well formatted but for many, Dave Meltzer is THE authority on wrestling, and even if you're like me and not into international or shootfighting there's still a lot to look at in terms good features and results. And if you are into the other stuff, than you'll love it.

Try getting both, I like the Torch a lot, but will probably resubscribe to the Observer as well...
