Guest Youth N Asia Posted January 8, 2003 Report Posted January 8, 2003 Raw got a 3.6, but since Monday night football is done and over with that means very little. Remember when Raw but into their ratings, and not the other way around?
Guest AndrewTS Posted January 8, 2003 Report Posted January 8, 2003 "See-uh, Vince! I saved-uh the show-uh!"
ChrisMWaters Posted January 8, 2003 Report Posted January 8, 2003 Anyone have the breakdowns of which segments gained viewers and which segments lost viewers? I'd laugh my ass off if the HHH/Steiner segment lost TONS of viewers.
Guest AndrewTS Posted January 8, 2003 Report Posted January 8, 2003 The way it usually works out is that the segment following something that sucks loses viewers.
Guest wwF1587 Posted January 8, 2003 Report Posted January 8, 2003 I think Andrew is right... so in that case the main event probably lost viewers... "Told you uh RVD wasnt uh ready to uh take the eh world title Vince. Next week uh me and uh stiener, underwear modeling contest uh Vince, the uh ratings will uh sky rochet. Uh I mean rocket."
Guest razazteca Posted January 8, 2003 Report Posted January 8, 2003 let me guess KANE was a big draw again? /sarcasm
Guest AndrewTS Posted January 8, 2003 Report Posted January 8, 2003 Right--I was going to mention that RVD was in the main event, but I thought that was too much conspiracy theory crap. However, he was in the main event, and Shawn "Ratings Killer" Michaels was also at ringside and stuff. Plus, I didn't watch it myself, sooo...
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted January 8, 2003 Report Posted January 8, 2003 Raw got a 3.6, but since Monday night football is done and over with that means very little. How does that mean very little? Sure, Raw isn't the ratings competitior it used to be, but for WWE that means more people are watching, even if it's out of apathy because nothing else is on. Any port in a storm.
Guest AndrewTS Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 It means that the WWE will ignore the fact that Raw has been sucking massive amounts of cock and won't do a damn thing about it. At least nothing that'll help.
Guest nl5xsk1 Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 If I was a Nielson house, I'd have pissed everyone on this board off ... sadly, I watched the pose-down and NOT the main event. But before I get slammed, let me stress that it wasn't for HHH at all, but for two other reasons. 1) the pose-down was like a car wreck: You don't want to look but can't look away. I'm tempted to say it was so bad that it was good, but that's not true: it was so bad it was still bad. 2) Due to the pose-down going so damn long, the main event didn't start until just before the top of the hour. And a tag team match can't get going with such a small amount of time to develop, especially with Kane dragging it down. So I made the executive decision to flip over to the hockey package and watch part of the late games. (I feel dirty just admitting the above ... sorry all.)

Guest humongous2002 Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 The posedown was the gayest thing i've ever seen on tv, if this is not the Mr. Olympia then i don't want to see 2 jakked up roid freaks with no symmetry whatsoever trying to pretend they are top level bodybuilders.I predict a Worst Match of the Year candidate @ the Rumble with these two cripples.

I watched just to see how roided up HHH was--not much less than Steiner. Geez. Plus, I have no desire to see HBKt these days if he's not in a match, I hate Kane, and I don't remember who else was in that--oh yeah, RVD. A few seconds of him in a tag match isn't worth watching the whole thing for.
