You can refer to the other thread for the matches and stuff..I will say that the matches were all very good, except for the Shannon Moore/ DeMott match (extended squash) and Big Show vs Rikishi. There were 9 (count em..NINE!) matches, Tajiri vs Jamie Noble WAS shown and that was a pretty good match. Only one backstage segment (A Train/Heyman/Show) to buildup for the Main Event and one backstage interview (Josh interviewed Torrie)..The interview confirms an announced match for the Royal Rumble: Stepmother vs Stepdaughter Match: Dawn Marie vs Torrie Wilson There were two Nathan Jones promos, and it looks as if his gimmick is that he has been in jail for 10 years (is that true?..no clue). Matt Facts: Matt has a heated toilet seat Matt likes pulp in his orange juice BONUS MATT FACT - Micheal Cole is Biased (during his commentary..) They do the tale of the Tape for the main event..Albert used to play for the Chargers?? They don't show The F-5 Albert got that was messed up.. Exclusive The Dawn/ Al Wilson honeymoon tape.. Apparently, Dawn wears out Al (as shown in previous clips in the shower..), and he is seen lying on the bed face down and not moving while Dawn keeps tapping on him wanting to do it some more...they do the main event, and then they come back and Paramedics are in the hotel room. Al is DEAD...oh wait..hes just not breathing..they put him on the floor, use the paddles to shock him, get a pulse and wheel him out of the room on a stretcher all while Dawn is going INSANE..

Matt played for the University of Maryland, above-average football player. He got a tryout contract with the Chargers ala Ahmed Johnson (Cowboys), Brian Pillman(Bengals) and Ken Shamrock (Chargers). He never went farther than training camp, I believe. To make a fair comparison, Faarooq (a three-time All-American, who finished in the top ten in Heisman Voting in 1980), barely made it past training camp with the Browns, before moving on to the USFL.
Guest kane3212321 Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 Nathan Jones was in jail, I can't remember for how long but he held up a store with a couple other guys when he was younger. I got to meet him once backstage at the WWA Melbourne press conference, seemed like a nice guy, no one seemed interested in talking to him though, more interested in Bret Hart and Road Dogg.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 Damn........ Nathan Jones, Batista, Brock, Undertaker, Kane, there are a whole lot of Hoss' for the Rumble this year. I'm guessing on a few of those names to be in the Rumble, btw.
