Guest DeputyHawk Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 dumb modes of expression and spelling mistakes aside, the point is a decent one. having predominantly jobber matches on TV really built up interest for both televised showdowns between the top guys and also for house shows. raw & smackdown have really saturated the number of fresh matches which can actually generate excitement. almost every potential major match has a been there, done that kind of feel to it now. also, superstars used to have those cool intro promo boxes, so at least everyone got the chance to improve their mic skills now and again. i'm all for it: one weekly TV show with mainly jobbers, promos & angles + a couple feature matches building to a monthly PPV = major fucking ratings increase. seriously. anticipation is everything.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 I kind of miss Tuesday Night Titans. It would feed Vince's need to be in front of a camera and HHH's need to talk for an entire program with one swoop.
