Guest jester Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 -WWE's weekend syndicated shows continued the Al Wilson/Dawn Marie storyline by stating that Al Wilson is currently in a coma. Credit: WrestlingObserver.com How are we supposed to tell when Mr. Charisma is in a coma vs. him in his normal state? And a more pressing question, can anyone name three people who tune into WWE programming for this shit? Let it die WWE. Please.
Guest KanadianKrusty Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 At first I thought it was in the "so bad it's funny" category, but now it's just plain sad, weeks and weeks of pointless storylines without any actual WRESTLING involved, just give more time to Varsity Club 2k instead.
Guest Mad Dog Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 Sad that this thing is going into it's 4th month. That makes me want to really stop watching.
Guest razazteca Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 but now you get Torrie vs Dawn in DIVA matches the audience not old enough to rent or buy porn need this
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 no no no no no. They are just getting warmed up. What we need now is: Al's Twin Brother comes in to help comfort Ms. Wilson and Torrie in their moment of pain. Torrie never knew of her long lost uncle and she doesn't want him to be corrupted by the evil stepmother. THEN it turns out that he is not really als twin brother but als CLONE! Dawn Marie created Al #2 to help destroy the wilson family. You see, back in the day Al was a free loving hippy. He had many torrid love affairs, one of which was with a young married woman named 'Sarah Williams' - they had a fling and Al left her like a theif in the night. Sarah got pregnant and her husband knew the baby wasnt his - so he left her. Homeless, Sarah went from city to city for years trying to find Al to give her and her daughter some security - but alas, it was no good. On her death bed she told her daughter her fathers real name and what he had done to her and her family. From that day on, that young girl made it her life mission to find her biological father and make him pay for what he had done to her mother. That girls name was and is Dawn Marie. Then you can have Al come out of his Coma to see Al #2 trying to kill Torrie wilson w/ Dawn Marie cheering him on. Al summons all of his dirty lovin power for the forces of good and righteousness and destroys Al #2. Dawn Marie then pulls out a Gun and is about to shoot - but then all of a sudden her mother, sarah williams comes into the room! She wasn't really dead! The daughter and mother embrace and Dawn turns to the side of good and lets the light into her heart. But then it turns out that Sarah is really a clone as well! And billy kidman created her! You see, Billy Kidman is from the future and was sent back in time to help stop the murder of Al and Torrie Wilson. With that all settled and Dawn Marie in Jail everything is just the way it used to be... Or is it?!

Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 Shit! I knew I forgot something. How about Dawn Maries mothers clone has amnesia and can't remember DM's childhood and THAT'S how Dawn Marie discovers her mothers true identity. And that's when 'Time Ranger' Billy Kidman comes in for the save.
Guest EternallyLazy Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 Is Vince Russo secretly writing for Smackdown now? Or are they just pulling this shit from the "Rejected Vince Russo storyline ideas" file?
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 At first it seemed like they were intentionally being bad - Cole and Tazz would be like "oh make it stop!" - but now since they dedicate a strong amount of their show to it (like what? 4 segments per show?) it simply can't be that. It blows the mind why they keep promoting something that doesn't have ANY pay-off whatsoever. They aren't willing to go whacky with Clones and Time Travel and there won't be any wrestler getting a rub from it.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 I Rikishied this angle last week...meaning I just change the channel at the hint that they're going on with it. I'm done with this one
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 Someone said something about the Undertaker resurrecting Al Wilson... I believe it.
Guest AndrewTS Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 Someone said something about the Undertaker resurrecting Al Wilson... I believe it. *raises hand* That was me.
Guest The Old Me Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 Someone said something about the Undertaker resurrecting Al Wilson... I believe it. Then Paul Bearer will return and we find out that Paul is Torrie's real father!
Guest Youth N Asia Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 I still say the only way to save the angle would be for Torrie to do some detective work and find out that Dawn Marie is the product of an Al Wilson one night stand 30 years ago
Guest Anglesault Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 I still say the only way to save the angle would be for Torrie to do some detective work and find out that Dawn Marie is the product of an Al Wilson one night stand 30 years ago Oh, you KNOW that's coming. Leading to the big Dawn vs. Torrie vs. Al Mania match for the rights to Al's secret fortune that he amassed in royalties over the years for his brilliant portrayal of Mammy in Gone with the Wind. (This of course, was back when Al was a black woman.) Since his age has always been identified as "Old" his life could have begun any time between the parting of the Red Sea and World War 2.

Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 And the triple threat match will headline Mania! And the WWE will tell the IWC "See we plan things out in advance!"

It would have been better if you had the whole family rejoicing and then HHH came out onto the ramp and called Al a murderer.
Guest midnight_burn Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 Oh, this angle is going to involve incest at some point, Dawn somehow tricking Al and Torrie into getting it on, or the pair of them getting it on by themselves, or maybe some wacky three-some set up. Or maybe Al will really die and Dawn will be caught having sex with his corpse, so we get Necrophilia Part 2! Only resulting in a match worse than HHH-Kane!
Guest jester Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 I've read the Smackdown spoilers, and apparently this angle will reach new levels of retardation on the next show. At least HLA and necrophilia were over pretty quick once they realized they were tanking. What's keeping this angle afloat?
Guest DerangedHermit Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 If the segments go through on to SD!, is it safe to say HHH will have something to do with Al?
