As reported earlier, Vince McMahon was the one who decided to end the Jim Ross WWE.com Ross Report. The last edition ran on January 3rd and featured Ross saying that it was his decision to end the report.

It appears that one of the main reasons WWE pulled the report was, in addition to the fact that much of what was written in it was interpreted differently by talent, because McMahon, Triple H, and other members of the creative team felt that the Ross Report gave away too much behind the scenes info.

The idea that shows like Tough Enough and Confidential, as well as things like the Ross Report, are negatively impacting business is gaining steam backstage in WWE.

The plan right now is to give away much less news and injury information away on WWE.com. WWE feels that the less fans know, the more interested and surprised they'll be at what actually happens on WWE TV.

Was HGH jealous of all the attention Ross gave A-Train and Bill Demott?

I liked the Ross Report, but I can see Vince & HHH's point here.

I was thinking about pretending to be shocked...but just hours away from another HHH is the lord show...

I don't have the energy.

Triple H should be happy Ross ALWAYS Advoided talking about the rumors of His Backstage Politics.

I'm getting a bit skeptical about how everything is the usual suspects, but since I was one that read the Ross Report to see how much of a self-parody it was I can't be bothered to feel much sympathy.

"I'm getting a bit skeptical about how everything is the usual suspects"

...that's why they are called the usual suspects...

HGH will soon run out of things to blame for his inability to get over. Maybe he can blame Vince's secretary for not making his coffee hot enough.

Damn that Ross Report! Damn Tough Enough! They will not hold HHH down bah gawd! He shall overcome!

Blaming the Ross Report for the creative team's inability to be creative and entertain the fans is the dumbest thing I have heard since the last HHH "inside" information. I liked reading the Ross Report and getting to know the wrestlers in a personal level. I think it is a sign that a fan is really interested into the product when they actually want to know more about the product and the wrestlers.

Besides, the few who actually read the Ross Report and watch Confidential are the TRUE die-hard fans of the WWE so how can that hurt the business?

*decides he does have something to say*

I'll start agreeing with HHH that these things expose and therefore hurt the business (you know...to all those people that think it's real) when he stops exposing the business and therefore hurting it every monday night.

Doesn't this sound exactly like the story a couple days ago, about HHH alledgely, blaming Tough Enough, etc. What are they rehashing stories, to make others stories up.

Right.

HHH is clean. That's why everyone from Meltzer to the Rock says he isn't.

This is bullshit. The Ross Report was going on during WWE's most successful period ever. Exposing the business is bullshit anyway, because noone believed it was real and if anything this will make people have more respect for the wrestlers for some of the stuff that most people thought was fake but are now finding out is real like blading. I know everyone I used to know thinks it was blood packets and that steel chairs were really plastic. It is funny how they keep blaming everything, but the creative team. They should have and would have fired them by now, but guess who is on it

You know it's ok to be skeptical of HHH at first. But when EVERY story from the most credible sources(such as meltzer who is wrong about .1% of the time) or even The Rock you know that there's a problem. The guy has to much power. And before you say "Oh it's all Vince's decision in the end"...yes it's Vince's decision that is heavily influenced by HHH.

True true. There was a Torch Talk interview with someone whose name slips my mind at the moment, that worked under McMahon (I'm thinking Terry Taylor but I could be wrong) who said that Vince is very easy to manipulate in creative meetings. So if HHH manipulates or influences Vince then it isn't shocking

Assuming this story is true, their plan is not going to work. Who the hell went to the Ross report for any real information? All it did towards the end was justify the latest hoss push, note who was injured, bash the dirtsheets and IWC, and then make vague overtures about certain people needing to try harder.

If they think news isn't going to leak anymore, they really don't have a clue.

HHH needs to realize that the reason the product is hurting is not because shows like TE and Confidential...it's because a certain individual feels that the product will do better if he is in the main events and only jobs to his buddies clean.

Even Rocky said something?

And this HHH shit has gotten so over the top and strange that I just can't help but laugh now. Has the lengths that HHH has gone to make a fool of himself defeated me as an HHHater?

I watch Tough Enough, but not RAW so I guess I'm part of the problem.

Hey, when did the Rock say something? Did I miss it? I died for a few weeks, so if anyone wants to fill me in, I'd appreciate it.
