Guest Human Fly Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 "The latest word making the rounds is that chances of Steve Austin making an appearance at tonight's RAW 10th Anniversary special from The World is getting better. Austin is seemingly the obvious winner for the "Wrestler of the Decade" award and could possibly appear to accept the award." We'll see, I remain doubtful though
Guest Dillon Likes Bossman Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 ah yes...the lords of pain folks never fail.... cough*bullshit*cough....nice thinking.
Guest Human Fly Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 I went back and looked at it after I posted it, and they got it from liveaudiowrestling.com. So who knows. ah yes...the lords of pain folks never fail.... cough*bullshit*cough....nice thinking. That's why the word possible is present in the title.
Guest Dillon Likes Bossman Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 zing....point taken.
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 He deserves the award in my opinion. But just because he gets it doesn't mean he'll be there. But would the WWE give it to him if they new he wasn't going to show up? I'd say 50/50 on that. Normally I'd say hell no, but they are obviously trying to woo him back and keep his name out there and this would be a step in that direction.
Guest candie45 Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 If this was true, I wouldn't want him to return that way. It would be best in an actual arena... to hear the pop, see everyone go apeshit in the crowd, pose on the turnbuckles, and hell, even hear JR go nuts for his bah gawd best friend Stone Cold! Stone Cold! Stone Cold!
Guest AndrewTS Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 He should win the award, but not be present...
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 He should win the award, but not be present... Then have someone like Randy Orton or Matt Hardy come out, Steal the Award, and claim to be the Best...... No wait, that would give those mid-Carders too much heat. ::Smacks Self in Head:: What was I thinking?
Guest candie45 Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 Matt would be perfect for that. He should pull an Eddie and get everyone pissed.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 Matt would be perfect for that. He should pull an Eddie and get everyone pissed. Matt is a SD! guy. If they want to make an angle out of this, keep it in house. Give it to Orton.
Guest Banky Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 No question, Austin will be there.

"Since Austin cannot fulfill he duties as Superstar of the Decade, I will be glad to do so and accept this award on his behalf..."
Guest El Satanico Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 This would a terrible way to have Austin make his big return. So of course WWE will decide to do it.
Guest The Old Me Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 This would a terrible way to have Austin make his big return. So of course WWE will decide to do it. As much as I'd love to see him back ASAP, it would totally take all the "umphhh" out of his return, so I agree, HHH is probably courting him to the hotel right now.
Guest Dangerous A Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 I don't think Austin will show for this. It would be stupid for WWE to give away Austin's first appearance on tv since June. They would (or should) announce when and where his first appearance will be. I think if anything, they may announce that Austin will make his first appearance at the Rumble.
