Guest Youth N Asia Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 I know there's a long thread about the Raw X thing...but the board wouldn't work for me and some others after the show. WWE promised suprise stars from the past...but they advertised Moolah and Mae on the site...so really, there was not a single suprise. They wouldn't even throw us a Billy Gunn for christ sake! And didn't K-Kwick commit to the show? Maybe after they no one offered to show up they said "fuck it! only current employees" I mean they couldn't even get Foley to show up...that's sad. And personal...I don't think TLC 34 or Austin/Kane either rank in the top 20 Raw matches
Guest Jack Tunney Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 It was kind of funny to see Stacey Keibler talk about bad gimmicks in the past and mention a dentist with bad teeth, which made the crowd start screaming "KANE!!!!". Must've been some smarks in the crowd.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 What I don't get about that was that they showed Waylon Mercy and Repo man...those were GREAT!
Guest Jack Tunney Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 Well, hopefully on the 20th anniversary of RAW (if there is one) we'll see HHH and Steiner having their posedown with that funny cartoon music playing.
Guest Army Eye Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 What I don't get about that was that they showed Waylon Mercy and Repo man...those were GREAT! Yeah, they showed several gimmicks which were actually quite good. Just a couple of others that come to mind.. I.R.S and Dean Douglas. Those were both excellent heel characters.
Guest art_vandelay Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 It was kind of funny to see Stacey Keibler talk about bad gimmicks in the past and mention a dentist with bad teeth Oh yeah, that was terrible. Not all gimmicks can be as brilliant as naming your fans, "Testicles".
Guest Youth N Asia Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 Well, hopefully on the 20th anniversary of RAW (if there is one) we'll see HHH and Steiner having their posedown with that funny cartoon music playing. No dice...HGH will be running the show by then.
