Guest NoSelfWorth Posted January 23, 2003 Report Posted January 23, 2003 Raw delivered a 3.8 rating on Monday night. Considering the night after Rumble and promising a surprise, the number is about what you'd expect. Credit - WrestlingObserver.com
Guest Youth N Asia Posted January 23, 2003 Report Posted January 23, 2003 I think it didn't make any sense to announce there would be a suprise at the Rumble...they would have been better off doing it last week. I'm sure most people didn't even know about the "suprise" I'll pay attention to the ratings again when they crack 4
Guest Choken One Posted January 23, 2003 Report Posted January 23, 2003 Huh? I think it was better to do it at the rumble cause then it would take over the Rumble hype...Next week will be more interesting to see if MORE tune in with the news of a Possible Austin return...Yes I know Bisch said he won't come until NWO but remember how casual fans hear things... Person Who Watched the show: The surprise was that Bischoff invited Austin to NWO to tell his story. Person who didn't watch: Oh, really Cool. Person who didn't watch tells another person who didn't watch: Hey! Guess What, Austin's coming back! Other person: Cool...Then I'll watch it next week. So expect the ratings to break 4.0 here. Yes, You heard me correct. Unless HHH really killed the fans.
Guest Damn You Helmsley Posted January 23, 2003 Report Posted January 23, 2003 The ratings were always going to drop slightly without King Vince.
