Personally, I love the old school SummerSlam and Survivor Series logos.

The 1993-1997 King of the Ring logo is quite nice, as well.

The 1999 Royal Rumble logo is too bland.

The 2000-2002 SummerSlam logo is pretty swank, too.

A creative logo can entice viewers to purchase ppv's.

What do you guys think?

Royal Rumbles 96-99 were nice IMO...as was Rumble 2001 (why the fuck did they get rid of that one???)

I liked Survivor Series 2000 (with the radar thing for the "O")

The current SummerSlam logo has grown on me.

As for worst...either the current No Way Out logo or No Mercy 2002...they don't even seem to be trying anymore with the IYH PPV's.

Personally, I liked the 1998-1999 remakes of the Classic 5 logos (KOR 98-WM XV) , especially the '98 SurSer and '99 Rumble logos because they showed the changes in 'Attitude' the company had gone through.

This year's No Way Out logo owns too...whoever thought of the 'lock and chains' motif deserves a raise IMO.

I also like the logos of:

Backlash '02: I mark for swinging hooks, what can I say. Oh, and the A's in the logo being replaced with blades is cool too.

King of the Ring (93-02): both the crown and KOR logos work for me and add a sense of importance and seriousness to the event

IYH: Breakdown: I wish they'd done more with the construction motif...

Unforgiven 2000

WrestleMania (85-99): What can I say that hasn't already been said about it?

IMO, the worst logos are:

RRumble (01-02): too simple, and why is the 'M' colored in?

Any July PPV ('98-02): They all follow the pattern of just writing out the PPV name in a plain font and then adding something to it, like a big red 'V' or pistons or a red thing that looks like a jockstrap. Not very original, IMO.

Judgment Day (00-02) the drippy font they use on 'Judgment' looks like ass, IMO.

I concur with GameCop....the modern SSlam logo is great. However, I liked the banged-up looking Rumble '99 logo because it was the old happy-looking, primary-colored logo from 1996 injected with 'Attitude', which made it look much better IMO.

Fully loaded had a great dice motif the year Rock faced Benoit. I'm surprised that didn't get a mention.

I love the Survivor Series 2000 logo. Too bad it came from a horrible PPV. The Armageddon 2000 logo is also good. And of course the old Wrestlemania logo deserves special mention.

Worst are Unforgiven, Wrestlemania 2000, and the British PPVs (they all suck).

The 1989-1995 Survivor Series logo is my favorite.

Pretty much all the PPV's logo's I have seen have been pretty impressive to me. Someone obviously works very hard on these and they do a pretty good job most of the time. The only ones that have disappointed me have been most of the King Of The Ring ones.

I thought the dice motif for Fully Loaded 2000 was cool, but the logo was just the name of the PPV in plain writing....nothing special about it at all. In fact, they used the same font on the cover of Forceable Entry last year,

Classic Wrestlemania, at least the current Wrestlemania logo is similar to the classic one's structure.

You know what I hate? How they don't put years on the boxes any more. You know like, "Royal Rumble '00" or "Judgement Day '98." Why is that? It just makes it more confusing.

Cool Logos:

Royal Rumble 2001

No Way Out 2003

WrestleMania XV, X7(God that X7 is dumb)

Backlash(All)

Old SummerSlam Logo 88-97

Summerslam 98

Suvivor Series 98,2000

Rebellion

Suck Ass Logos:

No Way Out 2002(Talk about tacky)

KOTR 99-2002

New Summerslam(That Green and Blue just doesn't go together)

No Mercy 2002(I'm I the only one that thinks that thing took absoluty NO EFFORT to make)

Survivor Series 01(Jus didn't like it)

And I think th reason why there is no year anymore is because it should be common knowledege to wrestling fans to know when these events took place.

The moving Backlash logos are by far the best, particuarly when the hooks hit the smashing through the words spot
