Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 From: 1wrestling -Steve Austin is said to be in the best shape of his life and is ready to go in regards to his WWE return. -Kanyon will make his return to WWE tomorrow night at the Smackdown house show in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. He will face Bill DeMott. No word yet on if that means he will be an official Smackdown brand talent. -------------------------- I can't wait to see Kanyon again. He's been through a lot, and hopefully his in-ring ability is back up to snuff.
Guest Choken One Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Austin in his best shape? Well, Guess that NO BEER ALLOWED mandate from the judge has paid off.
Guest Angle-plex Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Kanyon gets to job to Demott in his first match back? Joy.
Guest El Satanico Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Ok...that's great but you're forgetting the important news... What news do you have about Surf Nazi's Must Die?
Guest Choken One Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Wasn't there a movie about Teen Surfers that fought Nazi's?
Guest AndrewTS Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 I can't wait for Kanyon to return. Hmm...maybe since Edge has long-abandoned the Downward Spiral he can use the Flatliner again.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Ok...that's great but you're forgetting the important news... What news do you have about Surf Nazi's Must Die? Ah yes: "They've decimated the Samurai Surfers! They've crushed the Fashion Wave! And now.... SURF NAZIS MUST DIE!" "Gimmie something that can kill a honkey at 20 meters!" I just thought it sounded cool, ala the time I used "Heroic Pyromainia" in that spot.
Guest Indy Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 wwwaahhh!!! I need tickets!! I want to see that!! *Is from Saskatoon*
Guest Army Eye Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Austin 'in the best shape of his life'. Something we hear a lot but which is almost never true. I'll believe it when I see it. He was in awful good shape in the mid 90s.
Guest godthedog Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 From: 1wrestling -Steve Austin is said to be in the best shape of his life and is ready to go in regards to his WWE return. after neck surgery and having to wear braces on both knees, i somehow doubt that.
Guest wwF1587 Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 austin.. the best shape of his life... but you do hear that about almost all the returning wrestlers... kinda doubt it.... i am not even counting on him actually coming back so i dont much care how fit he is
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Surf Nazis Must Die! = ownage TROMA~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~ Anyways, I will mark out when I read of Austin's return. I was never a big fan of Kanyon outside of when he was POSITIVELY KANYON, soo...
Guest AndrewTS Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 "Best shape of his life," yeah, they said that about Steiner and Nash recently said the same thing. However, considering this is Austin and not those guys I'll be more willing to believe it.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Meh. Kanyon shouldn't be on SD! They need talented workers on Raw. on SD! he easily could be lost in the shuffle.
Guest Brian Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Well, the guy can't drink, is working out with spite on his side, and has a ring in his house to continue to practice but doesn't have to deal with injuries. I'd say he's got to be in really good shape.
Guest Mole Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Last time we saw Austin in great shape was against Hart at WM13. I remember watching that match last year and saying to myself, "Damn, Austin is a lot slower than he used to be." I am sure we will find out soon fellas.
Guest Brian Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 I'm sure not being on his feet as much will help his knees.
Guest Banky Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Last time we saw Austin in great shape was against Hart at WM13. I remember watching that match last year and saying to myself, "Damn, Austin is a lot slower than he used to be." I am sure we will find out soon fellas. Are you serious? Austin has always maintained great ring condition. He was only slow in 97 after the Owendriver and when he returned from surgery. He was in premium shape by WM17.
Guest saturnmark4life Posted January 26, 2003 Report Posted January 26, 2003 austin in 2001 was incredible. He'll always have a weak neck and knees, but he's always had them, and still had great matches. If anything, time out of the ring at home would help him.
