Guest Whatmaniac Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 -Let me see get this straight, Vince McMahon shows up on Raw as a face just a few weeks ago and now he shows up on Smackdown as a heel, resurrecting a feud with Hogan that lasted two weeks back in June of 2002. Does Vince actually think that anyone wants to see him wrestle? -Bischoff was ordered to turn around Raw or else, but his big announcement takes effect after the 30 days he was given have passed and only hypes the PPV. Does anyone else find this really stupid on the WWF's part? -What the heck do we need Shane McMahon for? Why not give the commissionership to Sean Moorley? He's already the Minister of Dusty Finishes and the evil Commissioner gimmick is great for getting wrestlers over as heels. -Why were B-2 and John Cena broken up? They were developing quite nicely as a team and their interaction with each other was quite amusing. It makes little sense to build a guy up and then give his spot to a Junkyard Dog impersonator. -If A-Train is supposed to be a monster heel, how come he never wins? They make him the Big Show's sidekick and job him mercilessly and then act surprised when he does not get over. How can anyone say that the guy has been given much a chance with his current "push" . I suppose we should be thankful that Matt Hardy did not get this push and was subsequently spared this indignity. -There still is no justification for hiring Scott Steiner and putting him in the main event. With all the "hosses" already under contract, the WWF could have just used one of their own people to feud with HHH. With the way the storyline is structured, one could easily substitute Kane, Test, or even Mark Henry into Scott Steiner's spot and the feud would be improved considerably. The Royal Rumble Match would have been much better, even if it were Mark Henry in there. -Am I the only one who is sick and tired of non-title matches on both shows? Just a two years ago, every champion defended his or her title on TV regularly. It makes no sense for matches like Angle-Mysterio and Rock-Eddie Guerrero to be non-title when the champion wins anyway. Its not like these guys cease to be credible when the title is on the line. Even if the challenger has no realistic chance of winning from a smark standpoint, one can always entertain the hope of an upset and the match therefore takes on an added importance. -Since no one from Raw won the Royal Rumble, just how is a challenger for the title at Wrestlemania supposed to be determined? -Finally, How hard can it be to find something interesting for The Raw champion to do? I am positive that half the people on the Fantasy Booking Board can make better use of HHH than the Raw Booking team. If he, or any one else is going to succeed as the top guy on the show, they really need to come up with better storylines than the Katie Vick and Lucy nonsense.
Guest AndrewTS Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Rhetorical questions, all. I think every single one of these have been brought up at one point or another, except for Morely replacing Bisch. Bisch hired Morely, and with Bisch swept out of power Morely would likely be also, or just occupy the same position if the new GM would allow him to stay there. And since Shane is likely going to be face, I don't count on it.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Does Vince actually think that anyone wants to see him wrestle? I do, because Hogan/Vince will keep the Hulkamaniacs happy yet keep Hogan away from the real wrestlers.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 Well Hogan and Vince both looke very old last night so........they could have a walker on a pole match. And yes many of those same questions are raised by me Whatmaniac.
