Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 You know I was wondering.....when Austin returns how deafening will Steve Austin's pop be at No Way Out? Will it be on the level that he had in his hey-day? And will it be consistent? Will he blow the roof off of the arena everytime he comes out just like before? I guess I'm saying will Austin be the biggest star ever...again? And do you think he'll get a Hogan? A pop where he won't be able to talk b/c they won't shut up.
Guest Steviekick Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 I don't think it will be a Hogan like pop, he wasn't gone fromt the WWe as long as Hogan was, but it will still huge and consistent.
Guest JMTapes Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 As much as I'd like to see him suceed, I don't think he'll ever be as popular as he once was. I really hope I'm wrong, though. -JM www.jmtapes.com
Guest Banky Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Nope, it'll be bigger than Hogan's. This guy is liked more by hardcore and casual fans. No question, it'll be deafening.
Guest Human Fly Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 It won't be like Hogan's simply because they can't afford 10 minutes of PPV time of Austin in the ring getting cheers (unless they figure that will happen and book the slot accordingly).
Guest AllCanadian Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 It's in Montreal it'll be HUGE
Guest Mole Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Okay, you guys remember when SCSA came out during the Mankind/Rock match and nailed Rock with the chair so Mankind could win? How LOUD that pop was? It will be that loud, no doubt. I still get chills up my spine everytime I see that.
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 It'll be even louder...when Bret comes out to take his place. ...I know. I know.
Guest Justwitty Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 I agree it will be big but my only question is, will the advance knowledge of his appearance lessen the pop? Hogan was a total surprise last week, Rock was a big surprise on the "Get the F out" RAW last year...does giving away his appearance hurt the sheer shock factor of the pop he'll receive? (Also remember, when he interfered in that Mankind/Rock match, it was completely unexpected as he had been gone for 4 weeks with no word of when he was coming back before the Rumble. Although, I still get chills from it too molestomp.)
Guest The Amazing Rando Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Well let me say this...I live in Maryland... and I'll be able to hear his pop.....and I won't even be watching the PPV...
Guest treble charged Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 I REALLY hope that he's on Raw the next night, as I will be there.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 He should be. Why wouldn't he? I mean he's not like HBK. I don't think he'll show up sporadically.
