If Austin screwed Vince again and didn't show up at No Way Out?

Just think about it.

A giant 'what if'...

Actually, now would be the perfect time for Austin to do the Warrior thing.

"You know Vince, I'm kind of having second thoughts about going back. Maybe if your daughter got over here within the hour with a big check and wearing a French Maid's outfit I'd see things more clearly.

"Or, you can have HHH hump a dummy again. Pop quiz hotshot, what do you do? WHAT DO YOU DO?"

Seriously, Austin would have supreme control the day of NWO.

I'm thinking he gets his own locker room and instead of showering he's sponge-bathed by 5 high-quality strippers using bottled water imported from France.

France? You've gotta be kidding me.

Austin would import that shit from Switzerland - mountain spring all the way.

He wants back in to the spotlight so badly he wouldn't do that. He's about to sell his soul to the devil.

I'm sure Vince wrote the new contract so Austin will be sued for everything he has and then some if he does no show, so I doubt Austin would do it.

I can't see it happening buy hypothetically if it did then it would indeed be the funniest thing ever, especially seeing as we Brits wouldn't have to pay to see it

I also think it would be funny. Especially the part about Vince sending Stephanie over in a French maid outfit.

But my question is, given his feeling on the company in general, do you think Austin signed a contract without an out?

I would think that he wouldn't, although I'm sure Vince tried to make him.

I thought Austin has been under contract this whole time? He just wasn't doing anything and was inactive. If he's still bound by the previous contract, then I suppose it's entirely possible.

Not likely but possible.

We should have one big discussion about wrestlers contracts. They are independant contractors - Vinces own lil way out of having to pay them move and give them benefits and such - so I don't quite know the legalities of the situation.

I said this in another Thread

I hope Vince "Montreal's" Austin.

They don't make French maid oufits that big.

Why would Vince Montreal Austin? I can't imagine how stupid of a move that would be. Why don't we just tease for a month that the biggest star in te company who many of you have loyalty for an a half a million are tuning in just to see if he shows up even though we've told you he isn't, and then screw him over first day back. Do you realize how much of his fanbase he risks alienating? Far more than with Hart.

I don't care about Buy Rates, and I don't care about Ratings.

I care about being Entertained and Austin getting "Screwed" would be Entertaining and make me laugh.

I haven't missed Austin all that much so I don't care if he comes back or not.

So, basically you are saying you could care less if the company tanks even more than it already is, so long as you get a laugh. Do you even appreciate wrestling anymore?

No, what I'm saying is, even if Raw was getting a 2.5 rating, WWE would still be on TV every week.

I don't care if the ratings are 8.0 or 2.0. There are still gonna be things I hate and like on the shows.

I don't want Austin back, Excuse me.

already pondered it, and it would cost vince big time, i mean ppl would feel really let down and just stop watching in bigger drovers...i mean wcw smart mark viewership here.

Vinces needs to have a back up plan, ie goldberg or sting.

The only reason that would be entertaining would be because Triple H just married into the McMahon unit, and called his move against Austin (since, apparently, Triple H might've had a hand in Austin's dilemmas last year). If Austin were to ever do that, he would have Vince McMahon by the balls and Triple H would be shitting quads.

*SMARK MODE OFF*

There's no way Austin would pull another walk for kicks. He loves the business too much for that.

I got ya Fearhavoc, I understand now, just took what you said the wrong way. excuse me.

I have to agree that Steve wouldn't do it again. I don't want him coming back and just playing HHH #2 on Raw, but I truly believe he won't, maybe that's just me. I';m excited to see him return and see what goes down between himself and HHH and how the company changes (if it does at all) in the next couple of years.

He has been under contract the whole time. He hasn't signed a new one.
