Now that it seems the worst has happened

OK, so Angle has a pretty serious neck injury, and even if he makes it to Mania, he'll still need quite a bit of time off to heal after that. I've come to terms with the fact that SD! is going to be sorely lacking for a long time but, this does provide an opportunity for the WWE to do something big with Angle upon his glorious return. Now, I know that lately, their track record hasn't been that great, but we can still hope for the best. So what should/will they do when he does come back?

 

I'm thinking they should hold off on Brock winning the title until after Mania; maybe at KOTR or some other mid-year PPV. Have him successfully defend the title for a while and keep him a face until Kurt is healthy enough to return and challenge Brock for the title (hopefully by Survivor Series, but probably not till Rumble or Mania 20) Have them feud over the fact that Brock never beat Angle for the belt. Angle then goes on to win his first title match against Brock semi-cleanly (as in Brock fights off a run-in by someone but falls prey to an Angle Slam immediately after) Afterwards, keep them apart by having Kurt continually cost Brock #1 contenders matches and then facing other challengers for the title, maybe even dropping and regaining it to someone like Benoit in the interim, before finally being forced to give Lesnar a rematch and dropping the title to him at a big PPV.

 

Whaddaya think? Any other suggestions??
