Guest tpww7 Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 The booking of Monday's RAW was obviously thrown into disarray after several injuries occurred during the weekend's houseshow circuit. The WWE was planning on having the Evolution either in a 6 man match or a tag match against the likes of Scott Steiner, Booker T, and possibly someone else. However, injuries to Randy Orton and Batista changed things, and the WWE just ran Booker T vs. Scott Steiner instead. Bubba Ray Dudley actually took medication just to perform his run-in during the show, but the pain wasn't decreased enough for him to work an actual match. Chris Jericho accepted a challenge from Howard Stern, in which his band, FOZZY, will be on the show and performing against Stern's purposely bad band called THE LOSERS, which Stern is actually on the vocals of. They will be performing the same song and will be in front of several music industry judges on a future Howard Stern show. Credit- 1wrestling.
Guest Super Pissed Smark Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 Disarray? Funny how I didn't notice any difference from usual. And this Jericho-Stern thing can only end pathetically.
Guest bob_barron Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 The Stern thing sounds pretty funny. Changing it from a 6-man to Booker v. Steiner was smart since Booker could use all the victories he can get right now
Guest Brian Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 They actually had the thing booked out early.
Guest razazteca Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 I love it when Stern does the battle of the bands. Fozzy > Cory Feldman Fozzy > Kevin Bacon Fozzy > Doug Flutie Jericho = Rock Star in a Marky Mark kind of way
Guest Nevermortal Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 Stern will win, per usual. None of the judges who judge those Battle of the Bands contest will ever give Stern's band a crap review on his show.
Guest notJames Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 Too true. Tina Yothers' band Jaded battled the Losers, and I thought musicianship-wise, they were much better, plus they did an original song, and Tina's voice was very sexy. However, all the judges voted for Howard and Co., citing that their sound was more marketable than the jazz-tinged rock Jaded performs. Not too biased, eh?

What a jerk-off, rigging some silly band contests on his awful show. Also, Artie Lange is a fat, unfunny slob who fancies himself a sort of blue-collar genius and a unerring voice for the everyman. That fucker. You think Jericho would know this and just call in on Stern to tell him he's not going to accept an invite to have some biased, paid-off judges tell him he's inferior. And you said something about Tina Yothers was sexy. Fozzy > Cory Feldman Fozzy > Kevin Bacon Fozzy > Doug Flutie What are Bacon's and Flutie's bands called? I'm guessing "Six Degrees." Flutie's would just be some sort of offensive reference to his kid's autism or something, so I'm gonna pass on that since I don't know any good autism jokes.
Guest Creepy Crawl Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 Fozzy is the most horrible band since Limp Bizkit .
Guest Raven_Effect01 Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 Howard Stern=The HHH of radio show hosts? Since it seems like he NEVER wants his band to lose?
Guest Retro Rob Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 I thought they booked Raw the afternoon of that day. That was probably just a lame excuse for the bad in-ring action.

Kevin and his brother are the core of the band (wait for it) the Bacon Brothers. Yeah, that's their name. Flutie's I don't know about. If you haven't seen Tina Yothers lately, she's lost a ton of weight from her Family Ties days, her face cleared up, and now she has short-cropped jet black hair and is quite curvy. Plus she's got a throaty kinda sexy voice which lends itself well to her band's music. Her band's not the greatest, but it's better than what you'd expect from her, considering that one godawful episode where she embarked on an Ohio-wide tour doing family-friendly old standards with Christina Applegate. Her website (www.jadedonline.com) seems to have disappeared, but you can check out some of the tracks of her album here.
