Guest tpww7 Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 There were some pretty bad mistakes that will probably be edited off the show before it's televised. Hogan screwed up his lines a bunch of times during his promo with McMahon, a couple of times even looking pretty frustrated with himself. He had a line that went something like "If you think I was just the right guy at the right place at the right time." The first time he said "wrong time." Then he said, "In case you didn't hear that right Vince, let me repeat it" then screwed up again, stammering over the line "right guy," so it literally sounded like he said "right gay guy." He then screwed up a line where he said he originally wanted to fight Vince at No Way Out, but he chickened out, then finally screwed up another line about Vince getting raped in prison. That one might make it to air because he didn't bother to correct himself. I don't mean to nit pick, but I wouldn't point out Hogan's flubs if they weren't very noticeable. The crowd was into the entire segment from beginning to end, but didn't pop at all for McMahon's announcement that they would fight at WrestleMania. I guess everybody saw it coming. Then the biggest screw up of the night came in the cage match. There was a spot where Brock had Heyman up for the F5 and Angle was supposed to open the door to the cage, run in, and interrupt the move. Well, Brock got him up and Angle went for the door, but it was stuck, so he literally fumbled with it for like 30 seconds while Brock just stalled with Heyman in position for the F5. Finally Brock just dropped Heyman and Angle climbed the cage to get it. It looked really messed up and I can't imagine how they will save it on TV. The crowd chanted "boring" during the Team Angle vs. Benoit & Rhyno tag match. Eddie Guerrero was getting babyface "Eddie!" chants during his match. Credit- PW Torch
