Rules of Attraction.

I rented that from Blockbuster about a week or so ago. Very ... odd.

You're not wrong. Very much on the odd side.

I'm getting Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and Jackass: The Movie on Tuesday.

I decided to not get the Futurama: Season 1 boxset since it's on Cartoon Network now. So I'm just going to save the money for the Family Guy boxset that's coming out in a few weeks.

This weekend I picked up a few more. I got:

Cabin Boy

Double Feature of Longshot/They Went That Away and That Away

those two were like $6.

Also got:

Half Baked

BASEketball

Road to Perdition

I was planning on picking up Road to Perdition and One Hour Photo last night, but they sold out of One Hour Photo. I went to another store and they were all sold out. So I got to go find that today.

I, too, picked up Futurama: Season One. Almost got Who Framed Roger Rabbit: SE, but that'll have to wait until next week.

Wal-Mart has got a TON of DVD's for $6 right now. I've grabbed Aspen Extreme and The Punisher so far.

Also got Toxic Avenger 4, Dawson's Creek:The First Season, Empire and 8 Mile within the last week.

VHS-wise, I struck a goldmine as a friend of my boss, who was selling merchandise on Ebay, gave it up and handed it down to my boss. The guy had just bought out a mom and pop video store inventory, and I scored TONS of VHS for free.

just picked up 'habit' from borders for about ten bucks. a few months ago i saw a trailer for it on a video i'd rented, and i looked around for a place to rent it but no one had it. it was there, it was cheap, so i bought it sight unseen. good stuff, and very fitting for the "weird ass movie" theme i have running through my collection.

I went to dinner at a restaurant in Glassboro last night and there was a Hollywood Video next store. I went in, just to check out the DTV (direct-to-video) films that they had for rent. Well, lo and behold, they had a big 2 for $5 sale on VHS films. Sadly, most of the films weren't DTV, but I managed to pick up:

Militia (Dean Cain)

Ground Control (Keifer Sutherland)

La Cucaracha (Eric Roberts)

Good Cop, Bad Cop (Lorenzo Lamas)

Cold Harvest (Bryan Geneese)

Straight Shooter (Dennis Hopper)

I don't know why, but I love these horrible films.

'Crime and Punishment in Suburbia' in the $6 Wal-Mart DVD bin.

$10 for The Doors 2-disc set. Maybe Oliver Stone thinks there was a government conspiracy behind Jim Morrison's death too?
