Guest BoboBrazil Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 The rating for Raw is in and the news isn't good for WWE as they march toward WrestleMania. This week's edition of Raw scored a 3.8 cable rating, with a 5.8 share, according to Nielsen Media Research. That is down from last week's 4.0 and the 4.5 from two weeks ago. The first hour of the show did a 3.5 while the second did a 4.0. It's possible that WWE lost viewers to coverage of the US' impending war with Iraq but even if that was the case, this isn't a good trend for WWE leading into their biggest show of the year. On the positive side, the house was a legit sell out in St. Louis last night and was up from around 9,000 the last time they ran in the market. 1wrestling.com
Guest GameCop Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 Good. I don't want to see Rock vs. Austin Part 4738483748. This isn't 1999 nor 2001. This is 2003. I thought we'd see Rock vs. Goldberg or Austin vs. Goldberg but it looks like that isn't gonna happen anytime soon.
Guest Super Pissed Smark Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 Once Rock goes back to the movies Vince is going to be super-duper-fucked. RAW will be into the 2's by August.

Guest GameCop Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 Austin vs. Goldberg or Rock vs. Goldberg would be fresh matches as opposed to Austin vs. Rock.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 :::: tries to fathom how bringing in Goldturd helps anything and fails :::: Sorry to jack your gimmick, notJames, but... Fuck Goldturd.
Guest Brian Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 Hey. I pioneerered "Fuck Goldberg" on this board.
Guest snuffbox Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 Old stars, hosses, McMahons, rehashes, and the 80s arent going to boost ratings... Maybe this will pull Vinces head from anus...eh...prolly not.
Guest El Satanico Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 fuck goldberg ...just for good measure
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 Hey. I pioneerered "Fuck Goldberg" on this board. I apologize then, good sir.
Guest humongous2002 Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Austin is doing the same shit he was doing b4 he left, his character hasn't evolve since then and he is not a big draw anymore, it's time to pass that torch Steve.
Guest JMA Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 I doupt Vince will start to worry unless the numbers drop to the 2's. Oh yeah, and fuck Goldberg (visit my thread of the same name in NHB).
Guest Retro Rob Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 RAW will be into the 2's by August. Oh please. According to all the Nostradomous predictions from the beginning of the roster split, Raw would have in the 2's by now. Did anyone check to see the ratings for the network shows? Any big winners?
Guest NoSelfWorth Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Does anyone else think Vince will see this 3.8, and hit the panic button this Monday, and try another hotshot angle ?
Guest deadbeater Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 No Molly on the show; what do they expect?

Oh c'mon dude, everyone knows that ratings increase during the "road to Wrestlemania." Raw did hit the 2's before the Rumble (though I think that was a clip show), and was always around a 3.1 or 3.2, which obviously isn't too far off. After Mania, the ratings will drop to the low 3's within a few weeks, and I can almost guarantee you that they will be hitting the high 2's regularly by next December.
