From 411:

The troops in the American operation in Iraq have shown to be WWE fans in some instances.

Some of the missiles used during combat have been painted with WWE catchphrases and graphics.

Two known examples are:

"Whacha gonna do when this 1000 lbs runs wild on you"

And

"This is the second year in a row that you pricks have made me miss Wrestlemania"

I can see it now at the next conference call

Linda: "We were disappointed with the WM buyrate at first, but then we looked at our audience and realized that the soldiers over in Iraq comprise a large part of our audience. That is why our estimates were off 300,000 buys"

Quite apt that the troops were using rasslin' slogans really, as the war did turn out to be something of a classic Superstars jobber squash...

Am I the only one who thinks this is extremely sad? Seriously, what are most wrestling fans stereotyped as? Ignorant, white trash. The last thing that I want to think about is ignorant, white trash fighting a war trying to defend our country.

"There goes that sand niggra right there! Diamond Cut that Charlie!"

No plz.

There is nothing sad about it at all. It isn't like it was on all of the missles and bombs and the such. Out of the thousands that we launched, I'm certain that WWE slogans and the such were not on the majority of them. Hell, just think about what ELSE was on some of them.

They weren't racist epitaths, at least those two.

Besides, you DO realize that this has been done for decades--and not just started with WWE catchphrases? It was even shown in Dr. Strangelove ("Hi there!").

Yep...Across History the Soilders of any war have placed Messages or Words across the weapons and stuff as a mode of Taunting or embrassment.
