Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 So the question is, will Booker T be able to wrestle at the PPV? Im beginning to wonder why they would add him on RAW last night, when they could have just waited and added him on heat prior to the PPV if he is ready.

Guest Midnight Express83 Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 they merged the US and IC titles. With the US champion winning the merger title, so I guess all former US champs are IC champs by proxy. So, Booker T is allowed in. But also that means Goldberg can be in it too.
Guest The Tino Standard Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 Storyline-wise, Teddy Long said on Raw that a deserving black man should be invited into the battle royale, whether he's a former champion or not. Obviously, he was looking to get a spot for Rodney Mack, but Austin instead decided to put Booker T in. No need for convoluted title histories and stuff to explain Booker's entry. Austin said he's in, so he's in.
