I'd like to learn more about USWA/ PPW Star Mike Samples, I think he was a booker for Lawler, but I haven't heard of him doing anything else before or after his Memphis stint.

 

Did he ever make it to Hollywood? (Storyline joke)

If we're talking about the same guy, Samples also did a stint in Big Japan (garbage fed in, duh, Japan). Only memorable moment was during a match with Shadow WX, who didn't want to put Samples over, so he immolated himself to protest.
