It's devoted mostly to older horror films, from the silent up until about the Hammer era, but you can find a little of this, that and the other thing there. If you're in the Pittsburgh area, check it out. You can read more about it here Special guests this year include Tom Savani, Ben Chapman and Julie Adams from the Creature from the Black Lagoon, Boris Karloff's daughter Sarah and Kevin McCarthy of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, probably best known to this generation as the villain from Innerspace and UHF (I'm going to have him sign my dvd of UHF and I'm bucking to be his personal toadie for the weekend). As an extra note, there is also the Dean Martin Festival in Steubenville, about 30 minutes from where the Monster Bash will be, the same weekend. Check that out here
Guest El Satanico Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 A horror convention and a Dead Martin convention within 30 minutes of each other. Damn I wish I lived in the Pittsburgh area. I'm only about 6 hours away so I could get there if I had the time that weekend.
