If he is going to copete in the 2004 olympics then he should have left the WWE a long time ago to practice. Not to mention he just broke his neck.

If he was going he would have had to leave in December to start training. Vince McMahon convinced him to stay and gave him another world title reign. It would have been better for him to go to the Olympics, because then he wouldn't have broken his neck wrestling.
Guest AndrewTS Posted July 6, 2003 Report Posted July 6, 2003 Actually, he broke his neck originally training for the 96 Olympics, and it had been bothering him for a long time. Staying in WWE in 2003 and wrestling injured it further, injuring a few more discs and compounding his old neck problems. Staying though allowed him to hear about Dr. Joh, who he may not have heard about otherwise. For now, it seems his neck is better than ever. So at least in that respect he's better off.

I thought that was the idea of the Jho surgery...That he would need more in future time...(I'm sure they won't take him out any longer this this one did...It's likely akin to a Scraping out Bone Spurs or something minor like that)
