Interesting SmackDown! Notes

There were multiple changes to this week's Smackdown script at yesterday's show.  From what I was told, revisions were done to the format throughout the day and were largely initiated by the agents, who didn't like the show as it was written.  One of the segments that was changed was the Brock Lesnar vs. Zach Gowen match.  After being announced locally in the Detroit market last week that the two would wrestle with Vince McMahon as the special guest ref, the match was pulled from the show.  Then, it was added back yesterday afternoon, without McMahon as the ref.  There were other parts of the show changed as well.

David Lagana, who is the co-head of the Smackdown creative team with Bruce Prichard, was not at the show due to the writer's rotation policy that WWE uses now.

Two things:

1. Agents are starting to put their foot down

2. As if they didn't have continuity problems with their storylines already, the writers are rotated (or maybe that is even where the problems stemmed from?)

If Brock needed McMahon's help to beat up Gowen...

Damn.

Good that it was changed.
