Guest Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 I remember him being one of the better workers back in the day. I'd SO mark out if he suddenly came out on a WWF show with his awsome theme music. the problem Virgil has had is that he played a sidekick almost his entire career, but if he came back, he'd finally get a chance to prove himself. :D
Guest FakeRazor Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 He should join the nWo again. B TEAM FOR LIFE!
Guest Human Fly Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 Funaki probably wouldn't mind. There would be someone for him to get some wins over besides Lance Storm.
Guest Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 Yeah, he was pretty good. Let's remember though, his finishing move was the russian leg sweep. In the 90s, that rarely helps anyone.
Guest buffybeast Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 You're joking, right? REally you are, aren't you? Virgil, aka Vincent/Shane/Curly Bill/Mike Jones? That Virgil? The one that supposedly let Pat Patterson perform a sex act on him to get a job? No, God no, I don't think we need to see Virgil back. I am not saying he wasn't a decent worker. He was, actually. But I don't think we need to see another 40+ year old has been (or never was in Virgil's case) in the WWF right now.

But ever since the infamous "Jokazuma" comment at Survivor Series 92, I've never thought about him the same since.

Guest Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 What was that? You don't remember? Well at Survivor Series 1992, Virgil took on YOKOZUNA in Yoko's first PPV match. The match was nothing less than a squash. Yoko went over and Virgil got killed. Later on in the show Lord Alfred Hayes was walking around out back looking for Virgil to conduct an interview. He found Virgil in a locker room just laying in pain on a bench (still sweaty and in wrestling garbe). Lord Al asked him how he felt and how was the match, Virgil replied by saying that that "Jokazuma" is increbible and warned Bret Hart about him. Pretty funny stuff actually. My friends and I always throw out a "Jokazuma" reference mocking poor ol' Virgil.
