Guest Posted April 20, 2002 Report Posted April 20, 2002 The following are WWF rumors from the "Informer" section of the May 2002 issue of WWF Magazine: - Several WWF superstars have applied to become a part of the nWo but the one to make the biggest "impact" will be someone who hasn't been in the WWF since he was champion. - A current WWF superstar is plotting to "infuriate" The Undertaker. The only hint as to who it might be is that the person is taller than The Undertaker. - A "former Intercontinental champion who fancies himself a movie star" is upset at the attention Billy & Chuck are getting from Hollywood. - Something "revolutionary" will happen at May's WWF Judgment Day. - A member of the ring crew who has appeared on television has a "golden" voice and will soon be singing the national anthem. - Rob Van Dam and a mystery partner may take on The Hardy Boyz at Summerslam in a TLC match with an unknown added stipulation. Alright..Taller than the Undertaker? Well they would have to be on Raw, so that means either Nash, Show or Kane... Former IC Champ, movie status, jealous of Billy & Chuck? Thats Goldust. New nWo member? You gotta believe it will be Scott Steiner And something revolutionary happening at Judgement Day? Hmm...no idea on that one. Feel free to hit me with your thoughts... This has been the Taker Mark.
Guest Brian Posted April 20, 2002 Report Posted April 20, 2002 "Several WWF superstars have applied to become a part of the nWo but the one to make the biggest "impact" will be someone who hasn't been in the WWF since he was champion." Shawn Michaels, no doubt about it. But he's not coming in, at least hopefully not.
Guest AM The Kid Posted April 20, 2002 Report Posted April 20, 2002 Take that crap with a grain of salt...I always do.
Guest Posted April 21, 2002 Report Posted April 21, 2002 Take that crap with a grain of salt...I always do. Yeah, you got a point... The Informer is rarely accurate with his 'inside news'. This has been a delusional Taker Mark.
Guest Austin3164life Posted April 21, 2002 Report Posted April 21, 2002 The WWF magazine once said that The Rock was actually injured in that god-awful hit-n-run thing with Hogan, so I'm not taking "the Informer's" word on it. If it is true though, in the words of Farooq, I'll be damned......
Guest FakeRazor Posted April 21, 2002 Report Posted April 21, 2002 Anything in WWF magazine is propoganda. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. *Realizes I just quoted Colin Quinn... shoots himself in the head* Impact eh? Justin Credible joining the nWo? LOL... makes sense, Clique connection, and he was ECW world champ... I'd like to see something with Goldust and Billy and Chuck happen. If they're going to all be under contract, at least do something funny with their characters. What am I saying? Fuck that, I don't want to see any matches involving Goldust, Billy and Chuck. Backstage segments could be funny though. RVD and Sabu? Please no. Thankfully, like I said above, WWF magazine is propaganda.
Guest Posted April 21, 2002 Report Posted April 21, 2002 Nothing they have in the informer ever happens.....ever.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted April 21, 2002 Report Posted April 21, 2002 Goldust and Billy & Chuck aren't even in the same brand.
Guest alfdogg Posted April 21, 2002 Report Posted April 21, 2002 - Several WWF superstars have applied to become a part of the nWo but the one to make the biggest "impact" will be someone who hasn't been in the WWF since he was champion. New nWo member? You gotta believe it will be Scott Steiner Scott Steiner was never champion in the WWF.
Guest Posted April 21, 2002 Report Posted April 21, 2002 he was a tag champ At least SOME of us know our WWF History... Thanks Cobain
Guest Risk Posted April 21, 2002 Report Posted April 21, 2002 Either Van Dam and Sabu or Van Dam and that guy who looks like Christian except isn't as good. I would prefer Sabu and Van Dam with Fonzie.
Guest commish13 Posted April 21, 2002 Report Posted April 21, 2002 just for fun: - Several WWF superstars have applied to become a part of the nWo but the one to make the biggest "impact" will be someone who hasn't been in the WWF since he was champion. *Thinking HBK - A current WWF superstar is plotting to "infuriate" The Undertaker. The only hint as to who it might be is that the person is taller than The Undertaker. *Sounds like it may possibly be Leviathan from OVW, as he is ready to come up. But it can just as easily be Kane or Nash. - A "former Intercontinental champion who fancies himself a movie star" is upset at the attention Billy & Chuck are getting from Hollywood. *I'd say this has something to do with The Big Valbowski. - Something "revolutionary" will happen at May's WWF Judgment Day. *Umm, maybe Mel Gibson will appear? - A member of the ring crew who has appeared on television has a "golden" voice and will soon be singing the national anthem. *???????????? - Rob Van Dam and a mystery partner may take on The Hardy Boyz at Summerslam in a TLC match with an unknown added stipulation. *Don't care to venture a guess.
Guest Metallica Posted April 21, 2002 Report Posted April 21, 2002 - Something "revolutionary" will happen at May's WWF Judgment Day No...it couldn't be...could it? Shane Douglas is going to reform the Revolution with Saturn and Malenko! lol ***
Guest Rick001 Posted April 21, 2002 Report Posted April 21, 2002 - Several WWF superstars have applied to become a part of the nWo but the one to make the biggest "impact" will be someone who hasn't been in the WWF since he was champion. Either HBK or Sid I'm hoping it's HBK though. Could be Stiener too but I'm thinking more HBK - A current WWF superstar is plotting to "infuriate" The Undertaker. The only hint as to who it might be is that the person is taller than The Undertaker. Don't tell me they are gonna bring back either the lame Nash/Taker feud or the Taker/Show feud - A "former Intercontinental champion who fancies himself a movie star" is upset at the attention Billy & Chuck are getting from Hollywood. I'm saying Val Venis since Goldust is on RAW. Unless they trade Goldust to Smackdown for someone else - Something "revolutionary" will happen at May's WWF Judgment Day. They might bring back the Revolution. Bad idea in my book seeing on how bad the NWO is doing why would they try to revive another old WCW stable? - Rob Van Dam and a mystery partner may take on The Hardy Boyz at Summerslam in a TLC match with an unknown added stipulation. I'm saying Sabu (unlikely since the WWF won't sign him becuase he is so totally freaking insane.) Jerry Lynn (unlikely because Vince fired him) Maybe Bubba Rey Dudley?
Guest cabbageboy Posted April 21, 2002 Report Posted April 21, 2002 I still say that Sabu is a psycho mofo that could get over despite literally no mic skills. He's just too injured and broken down now....if you put him in a TLC match he would get killed. Besides, how the hell would RVD be in a TLC tag match anyway? He's in the IC division now and if he loses that you have to think he moves up to the world title division. The rest of it seemed reasonable though.
Guest claydude14 Posted April 22, 2002 Report Posted April 22, 2002 i believe a few months back the informer predicted the nWo coming in, citing they had a "NEW ORDER" or something and were "oozing machismo"
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted April 22, 2002 Report Posted April 22, 2002 Whoever said Leviathan. I believe he is shorter than UT.
Guest Smeghead Posted April 22, 2002 Report Posted April 22, 2002 - Several WWF superstars have applied to become a part of the nWo but the one to make the biggest "impact" will be someone who hasn't been in the WWF since he was champion. Probably talking about HBK, although they've been plugging his return for over a year now and it hasn't happened yet. I guess it could be Steiner too. They didn't say which championship they were talking about. - A current WWF superstar is plotting to "infuriate" The Undertaker. The only hint as to who it might be is that the person is taller than The Undertaker. Only people I can think of who are taller than Taker are Kane, Big Show, and Kevin Nash. In any case, this feud should produce a horrible match. Kane vs. Taker might be decent, but that's been done so many times that I doubt anyone would care. - A "former Intercontinental champion who fancies himself a movie star" is upset at the attention Billy & Chuck are getting from Hollywood. B & C getting attention from Hollywood? Sorry, no. - Something "revolutionary" will happen at May's WWF Judgment Day. I bet. - A member of the ring crew who has appeared on television has a "golden" voice and will soon be singing the national anthem. Okay. - Rob Van Dam and a mystery partner may take on The Hardy Boyz at Summerslam in a TLC match with an unknown added stipulation. Could be Sabu. But that could be a bad thing. Sabu's ring work has not been up to par lately from what I've heard.
Guest Brian Posted April 22, 2002 Report Posted April 22, 2002 Anyone who's seen Sabu on the indy scene knows he's not exactly pleasant looking. He looks a like a trainwreck to be frank.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted April 22, 2002 Report Posted April 22, 2002 Sabu's ring work has not been up to par lately from what I've heard. Is it worse than normal?
Guest Nobody in Particular Posted April 22, 2002 Report Posted April 22, 2002 Several WWF superstars have applied to become a part of the nWo but the one to make the biggest "impact" will be someone who hasn't been in the WWF since he was champion. Shawn would be a slick idea, but he's been on TV neumerous times since he lost the belt. Bret Hart on the other hand...
Guest Mystery Eskimo Posted April 22, 2002 Report Posted April 22, 2002 ...has told Vince to fuck off already.
Guest papacita Posted April 22, 2002 Report Posted April 22, 2002 Nothing they have in the informer ever happens.....ever. Actually, back when Russo was running WWF Magazine, a lot of the stuff in the Informer was on point.
Guest Singular Posted April 22, 2002 Report Posted April 22, 2002 [i still say that Sabu is a psycho mofo that could get over despite literally no mic skills] Look at Tajiri. He was way over despite not even being able to speak english. I bet the WWF fans would like Sabu because he's kinda like another Jeff Hardy. Only not as appealing to the ladies.
