During the Rumble, JR had probably the funniest line of the whole PPV. "JR: It's Chucky!!!! Lawler: Chucky? What's wrong with Chucky? JR: I think it's yucky!" Actually wasn't that funny but it had me laughing for a minute. Anyway, that got me thinking what is your favorite JR quote (as in funny quotes). Mine would hafta be from last summer when he called Paul Heyman a human boil, and from the Higher Power Raw in 99. "Vince: IT'S ME AUSTIN!!! JR: AWW SON OF A BITCH!!!" Anyway, what are yours?

He was pissed off because he felt he was being pushed out of his job because of his most recent attack of Bell's Palsy. He had his own mini commentator desk (JR is WAR) placed in front of the regular one, where Michael Cole was doing PBP. At one point, Cole says something to the effect of: "I'd call the match, but there's a big cowboy hat in my way..." JR's rejoinder: "There's gonna be a big cowboy boot up your ass if you don't shut up..." Classic!
Guest Posted April 25, 2002 Report Posted April 25, 2002 I think once JR was trying to put over HHH or Undertaker as a huge heel..and at the end of the show, HHH or Taker was doing something very Heel-esque, and JR was just screaming over and over.. "Damn his soul! Damn his soul to hell!!" You know it's bad when the friggin announcer is damning another mans soul to Hell.

It's funny as hell. I've watched it like 20 times and I still have no idea. I think he was trying to say "Good God Almighty" but started choking on his own spit.

My other favorite was at Wrestlemania 14 when Billy Gunn and Mick Foley fell off the ladder into the dumpster, JR goes "OOOOOOOHHHMAAAAAAAAAAHGAWD!", and stretches it until they fall in the dumpster. Ross was awesome before the Bells Palsy hit him for the second time.

"Good Gawd awmighty, Austin whipping the black soul of Booger Red like a gubuhmint mule, and now he's runnin', runnin' like a scalded dog ba Gawd!" An exaggeration, but you know you've heard sentences out of his mouth like that.

I remember at Invasion he was like "Kurt Angle is OWNING the Dudleys!!! He is OWNING ECW!!!" There was also a Raw a couple months ago where he used the word "dis". And what the hell is a Booger Red? At WM, Lawler kept asking him during the UT/Flair match and JR just kept avoiding it. I think the people have a right to know!

Jim Ross was hilarious throughout the whole match, and King was actually funny as well. 1999 wasn't such a shitty year after all......but it probably was.....

I seriously thought he was having a heart attack. Hell, he did the same thing when Trips won at WM 18. I was watching at my local Hooters and said, "Goddamn, calm the fuck down, Jim." Some of his best stuff had to be at Survivor Series last year when Heyman kept provoking him. They also had a spat on RAW that was just awesome because I thought they were going legitimately going to scrap right then and there.
