Why they picked her over Taylor I'll never understand...

I can think of a couple reasons why...

 

1.  Taylor had that one night where she got real drunk and they showed it rather prominently on one of the episodes.

 

2.  Over the last few episodes Nidia came back from her injury and actually performed better than Taylor down the stretch.

 

Even because of that, I still don't know why they took Nidia over Taylor, cause Taylor was pretty good too.  And better looking.  I guess they thought that Nidia would appeal to a wider audience or something like that.

If I was one of the TE2 students tonight, in the back of my mind I probably would have thought to myself "What the hell could Nidia tell me about the transition from TE to the WWF?  She hasn't wrestled on WWF TV yet!"

'Tough Enough' and it's "contestants" are an insult to pro wrestling and every wrestler who has worked their ass off the hard way to get where they are. If I never have to hear about TE, or TEII, or Maven and his bushy brows, or Nidia and her huge nose (which has to rival Triple H's schnozz) again, I'll consider myself a lucky man.

Nidia was dressed weird on TE tonight. They didn't focus on her anyway just really on Maven. By the way if you guys were curious every finalist from TE1 still wrestles. None of the nonfinalists are still wrestling except one.....Greg, that guy with the bad back. He had surgery and is wrestling in CZW and a few other places right now. He looks like he's getting a little chubby though plus he runs the ropes weird.

I'd like to see Nidia come up soon.  I still think they should have done with Maven what they did with her, send her to OVW first... I mean they could've still had TV updates on his training or segments set in OVW a la the David Flair / Undertaker segment from before Wrestlemania.

Most people who have told me that I have "the look" always say that I resemble a mini Tazz....WTF is a mini Tazz?

 

I really don't think I'd make it anywhere as a wrestler, but I am trying to make it as a writer.

How the hell did this thread turn into telling someone that they have a good look? You guys crack me up sometimes.

 

Nidia has zero charisma and I think she won the contest by default. There was really no one in that contest who could contribute to the women's division or otherwise in the WWF. I think this year's TE cast is better as far as the girls go.

At least I can see this years women making an impact on the WWF...they elminated the two who probably wouldn't have made it.  Jackie and Anni look like powerhouses - especially Jackie - and I think Linda would fit into the women's division based on her charisma and character...she strikes me as definite heel.

I don't like to shit on people's opinions except on a flaming board, but how can some of the smarks sit here and say that Taylor was better looking than Nidia? The same smarks would say that Taylor is better looking than Steph. I know that this is all my opinion and you are entitled to yours, but I just don't see Taylor being hot or even "girl next door" hot. I definitely would put Nidia and Steph above her. Again this is MY OPINION. I was just wondering some of your criteria and rationale about these 3. (bottom line though, is none of them should be on tv)
