Guest Posted April 27, 2002 Report Posted April 27, 2002 My friend and I were just talking and we came across the topic of what guys have held titles in WWF, WCW, and ECW(including the invasion angle). Here's who I've come up with. Chris Jericho WWF-World, IC, European WCW-US, TV, Cruiserweight ECW-TV Chris Benoit WWF-IC WCW-World, Tag, TV ECW-Tag Mick Foley WWF-World, Tag, Hardcore WCW-Tag ECW-Tag Dean Malenko WWF-European, Light Heavyweight WCW-Tag, Cruiserweight ECW-Tag Saturn WWF-European WCW-Tag ECW-Tag Eddie Guerrero WWF-IC, Euro WCW-US, Cruiserweight ECW-Tag Lance Storm WWF-IC WCW-US, Cruiserweight, Hardcore ECW-TV, Tag Terry Funk WWF-Tag WCW-Hardcore ECW-World, Tag Chris Candido WWF-Tag WCW-Cruiserweight ECW-Tag Raven WWF-Hardcore WCW-US, Tag ECW-Tag Rhino WWF-Hardcore WCW-US ECW-World, TV Dudleys WWF, WCW, & ECW-Tag Shane Douglas WWF-IC WCW-US ECW-World, TV Tajiri(saved him for last, :>) WWF-Light Heavyweight WCW-US, Cruiserweight(now WWF) ECW-TV, Tag I'm sure I'm missing people and title reigns on the people here. Feel free to add anyone or anything I may be missing.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted April 27, 2002 Report Posted April 27, 2002 Funk had a 2-day reign as WCW U.S. champ, I think. If I remember correctly he beat Storm at a house show, and then Storm won it back at the next one, if you're counting that. Additionally, I think it's kinda sketchy to call the Dudleys, Tajiri, and Rhyno guys who've held WCW belts. The two latter held the U.S. belt, sure, but they did it under the WWF label. Same goes for the Duds and the tag belts. Do we really consider those guys being three fed champions when they've in fact only ever had jobs with two?
Guest Risk Posted April 27, 2002 Report Posted April 27, 2002 Saturn was WCW television and Malenko was US once.
Guest Will Scarlet Posted April 27, 2002 Report Posted April 27, 2002 Jericho and Benoit were WWF tag team champions

Do we really consider those guys being three fed champions when they've in fact only ever had jobs with two? I agree. Remember when the WCW broke away from the NWA yet still had the NWA title? The NWA of course pulled recognition of that title so the WCW renamed it the "international" world heavyweight title (big Gold belt.) It was like the biggest joke in the industry until it's "unification" with the WCW title. Of course, it's kind of strange how some people make exceptions to this almost exact same thing for the Alliance angle. In my opinion, the Rock, Jericho, Angle shouldn't be listed as former WCW champions since the WCW technically didn't exist as an actual wrestling company
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted April 27, 2002 Report Posted April 27, 2002 I concur about WCW titles not meaning jack after the company itself folded. Also, when was Lance ever ECW TV champion? I don't ever remember him holding that belt.
Guest Posted April 27, 2002 Report Posted April 27, 2002 Yeah, I don't know why I put ECW TV on Lance Storm. And I can't believe I forgot about Raven being ECW World. He even had the belt during the 97 invasion of Raw.
Guest RickyChosyu Posted April 27, 2002 Report Posted April 27, 2002 Additionally, Candido, Malenko and Guererro all held the ECW TV Title at some point.
Guest Posted April 27, 2002 Report Posted April 27, 2002 Additionally, Candido, Malenko and Guererro all held the ECW TV Title at some point. When did Candido hold the ECW TV?

I was at the Lubbock house show when Lance won it back!
Guest razazteca Posted April 28, 2002 Report Posted April 28, 2002 Buh Buh Dudley is the current Hardcore champ Spike Dudley was ECW tag champ and WWF Euro champ
Guest Posted April 28, 2002 Report Posted April 28, 2002 Buh Buh Dudley is the current Hardcore champ Spike Dudley was ECW tag champ and WWF Euro champ Yeah, but Spike didn't hold any WCW titles. And just as a disclaimer, I realize that it is very arguable to the legitimacy of counting people as WCW champs during the invasion, but I'm not out to prove these guys as legends(though many of them are), more at "hey, look at that" type of thing. And anyway, if we can count David Arquette as a former WCW champ, I think it's not so bad to do the same for the Rock(though I'm not a fan of him either). In the end though, I agree with the whole idea of them not truly being the champs. But the fact is that it happened and on their fansite bios, it will be listed.
