Why can't they just go back to using the old blocky logo? The way I saw it was that the animal WWF's problem was that they changed the logo. They could keep their name if they just went back to the old logo.

 

I guess hand-scrawled logos just have too much "attitude" in them....

It wouldn't surprise me if the WWF tracked the number of accidental hits to WWE.com and to WWFE.com (since this whole change supposedly will affect their website the most in terms of financial impact) and went with the one that was hit the most often.
