Guest Posted May 7, 2002 Report Posted May 7, 2002 Seriously? I think it's been a looooong time. If anybody remebers the last truly awful raw of this magnitude, please reply. And Hogan better thank god that Wrestlecrap closed down. That bike shit would have been on there tommorow. Did the whole Hogan segment remind of anyone else of Russo's famously terrible WCW backstage skits? Like the time Sting's stunt double was attacked by Rick Steiner's vicious pitbulls.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted May 7, 2002 Report Posted May 7, 2002 last weeK? the week before that? they've all fucking sucked lately but this was the worst in a long time. and I hate the get the F out commercial.
Guest Posted May 7, 2002 Report Posted May 7, 2002 Yeah, I remember the last time you all thought it was this bad and the company was due to completely fail and face empty arenas around the country as well as bankruptcy. I think it was after last week's episode, but I may be wrong. I thought it was a decent show. Nothing excellent, but nothing actively wretched.
Guest Posted May 7, 2002 Report Posted May 7, 2002 It was good in what good stuff it had; it was horrible in how muich shit was actually put out there. The writing team.....oh my gawd they need to be replaced. Did I just post here?
Guest cabbageboy Posted May 7, 2002 Report Posted May 7, 2002 This whole WWE bullshit is going to be the New Coke of wrestling. There is absolutely no one who even wants to acknowledge this garbage. Of all the stupid shit to go down the tubes on.....I mean Vince has survived sex scandals, steroid trials, WCW raiding talent, the PTC, all of it. And now he might fall due to a bunch of fucking animal nuts. I mean god, despite all that stuff the WWF was at least still the WWF! Now it's not even that. I give it about 3 months before Vince pays off the wildlife assholes and tells them to fuck off and then they go back to the name WWF.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted May 7, 2002 Report Posted May 7, 2002 I can't speak for everyone else, but I followed the new WWF tradition and flipped the channel as soon as I saw Hogan. What's this about a bike? Never mind, don't post, I'll read it in the RAW recap.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted May 7, 2002 Report Posted May 7, 2002 Hmm..There are a few people that can get the "F" out of the WWE. Id name names but you probably know 2/3 of them all ready...
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted May 7, 2002 Report Posted May 7, 2002 i also turned the channel when hogan came on. and I will not call it the wwe.
Guest Posted May 7, 2002 Report Posted May 7, 2002 dude, I was there, I just got home, the crowd was dead, it was terrible. I think even the little kids were laughing at hogan popping the clutch to early. Man would I love to see him drive a manual trans car. for a 4 hour drive to hartford it defintly was not worth it. I think I will just stick to whatever indy presides in the ecw arena for now. At least if the wrestling is bad, the atmosphere of the crowd always makes it worth the trip and the money. Man oh man was it bad --Rob
Guest Redhawk Posted May 7, 2002 Report Posted May 7, 2002 I thought it was funny how Hogan went to "chase after" Undertaker, when it's obvious he went back there to ask Taker how to start the bike. Now if Hogan were as cool as Steve Austin, he would have just done the "This stupid thing doesn't even work, you bitch" thing, like how Austin handled that malfunctioning mic problem a couple years ago. It's called improv, Hulkster.
Guest converge241 Posted May 7, 2002 Report Posted May 7, 2002 I thought it was funny how Hogan went to "chase after" Undertaker, when it's obvious he went back there to ask Taker how to start the bike. lol im sure there were worse episodes ..but this one was pretty foul.. so the logo is WW... why are they saying WWE?

It's called improv, Hulkster. >>> Hogan "chasing" UT was an "improv" on the part of Hogan. Thankfully for the WWE, the various stagehands et al backstage remembered that they had to show a pre-taped segment of Hogan on the bike backstage and managed to get the thing working. -=Mike ...And, yes, the backstage stuff until the "destruction" of the bike was pre-taped
Guest toggle Posted May 7, 2002 Report Posted May 7, 2002 Turned on TNN just as Hogan was trying to get the motorcycle up the ramp. Made my day.
Guest dreamer420 Posted May 7, 2002 Report Posted May 7, 2002 Raw was OK. The crap with Hogan and Taker is really starting to drag now. I called the Flair heel turn before the show started...or was it a month ago, I can't be sure. The Booker T/Goldust stuff is great. Their vignettes are the funniest thing the WWF is doing right now and why was Booker lipping off a RVD cardboard cutout? Just great stuff.
Guest Posted May 8, 2002 Report Posted May 8, 2002 This is so sad...only Booker T and Goldust make raw watchable...and the women. No offense to either, but the wwE needs serious help.
Guest razazteca Posted May 8, 2002 Report Posted May 8, 2002 Nearly everything that could go wrong did, but it did have 2 above average matches. RVD & Hardy vs Guerrero & Booker T and the Main Event was a good match, even though the Flair turn made no sense, and Flair "booking a PPV match", Nash at the show WTF. Undertaker bike episode was the worst segment(s) ever on RAW.
Guest Posted May 8, 2002 Report Posted May 8, 2002 Now if Hogan were as cool as Steve Austin, he would have just done the "This stupid thing doesn't even work, you bitch" thing, like how Austin handled that malfunctioning mic problem a couple years ago. It's called improv, Hulkster. He did improve... that's how we got "Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah!" Hogan NEEDS a script. Like the wonderful one from "Mr. Nanny"
Guest Posted May 8, 2002 Report Posted May 8, 2002 the Main Event was a good match umm.... what? The main event reminded me of 8 years ago when me and my brother would have headbutt contests, and then one of us would start bleeding. I'm not saying Raw is going to tank, i'm not saying Vince is going to suddenly go broke, I'm not saying that anybody gives a shit if it's F or E. I just think this wasn't the usual crap on Raw, this was a sucking of truly titanic proportions.
Guest Posted May 8, 2002 Report Posted May 8, 2002 In the words of "Comic Book Guy":........ Worst RAW EVER nothing more needs to be said
Guest Posted May 8, 2002 Report Posted May 8, 2002 Because I am usually at work when it comes on, I tape Raw. Lately, whenever I see Hogan, Undertaker, or anyone from the nWo, I fast forward. Great thing, that fast forward button.
Guest Posted May 10, 2002 Report Posted May 10, 2002 last weeK? the week before that? they've all fucking sucked lately but this was the worst in a long time. and I hate the get the F out commercial Right on. -------jp OUT
