From 1Wrestling....

Hall was reportedly "wasted" for much of the trip to England over the past weekend and showed up to RAW in much the same condition yesterday although he was improved by airtime.

Hall's release is effective immediately according to our sources.

Hall was not involved in the incident on the plane that had been discussed earlier this week involving Michael Hayes' mullet being cut off. Hall was said to have been "totally out of it" for the entire flight. Hayes was reportedly furious about having his hair cut and wanted to fight just about everybody on the plane, according to our sources. The mullet was pinned to the wall last night in the lockerroom at RAW

Oh shit, are you joking El Cubano about Hall??? Damn it, I still like Hall and understood that he would probably "slip up" a few times.  (And with alcohol being poured on him or waved under his nose in his early days back, who can blame him for the odd screw-up)?!  I'm pissed for my sake as a fan, for Hall, for "Raw" and for the nWo angle.  Damn...

The whole Mullet thing makes this sound like a joke, but if Scott Hall is fired, then YAY!

I was laughing my ass of at the news but Bob Ryder is usually pretty reliable on these things and we all know that he doesn't have a sense of humor so I assume it is the truth until I hear otheriwse.

Hall & the NWO never should have been hired in the first place.

LOL!  That's one way to phase mullets out.  Just cut them off of whoever has them.

So, was Hayes asleep when his mullet was cut off or what? Anyway, any bastard who cuts off another man's mullet deserves much worse than losing their job!

Seriously though, I mentioned in another post that I think Vince needs to shut down operations for a little bit and rethink, retool, and restructure. He becomes so desperate that he brings in the nWo, knowing their reputation, and puts a lot of faith into them. Hogan is on borrowed time, Nash is injured, and Hall is now seemingly fired. The only thing really remaining from the group is the additional members of Flair, Xpac, and Big Show. Just another reason why Vince needs to step back and try to fix things while he still can.

More on Hall's release,

As we reported earlier, WWE has fired Scott Hall. Reportedly, Hall was partying all weekend and actually fell asleep during Saturday's WWF Insurrextion. There was a 90% chance yesterday morning that Hall would be fired, so when Hall showed up at the show in bad condition, that confirmed the deal.

Weeellll........that didn't take long now did it? Hall is a bum, period. It'll be interesting how they explain this on TV.......

Yeah, now the idiots made Flair part of the nWo, he can't say he fired Hall.

I wonder how long until Nash gets all pissy about his friend being gone and becomes a big pain in the ass.

Okay.  So, is this the end of the NWO?  I mean, all they have left is X-Pac and Big Show.  Hardly a dominating force.  They are pretty much guys I see as WWF guys instead of NWOites as it is.  Hall was pretty much the glue that kept them looking like the NWO, now the NWO is just two WWF jobbers, Kevin Nash making a cameo, and Ric Flair doing whatever. It should be interesting to see where this goes, or, rather, how bad it gets.

It's sad that Hall's gone from WMX to sucking more than most of the other wresters on the roster. I guess there's always Rick Bogner...

I think they should retool. Im thinking just totally rename the stable of NWO, cause honestly, there is no NWO without Hall and Nash together. Man, lol at mullet scalpings! BAD STREET USA is dead and so is the MULLET!

"there is no NWO without Hall and Nash together"

Tell that to Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo...

True True, but im gonna act like Russo and Bischoff never existed. That would make my life a hell of a lot betta.

I'm dissapointed, not because of the fact that I enjoyed Hall as a performer very much (he was awesome about 6 or 7 years ago though. But, I was hoping he had turned his life around. Oh well, when will he learn. Anyone who cuts off a mullet should be given a promotion. Someone should've told Hayes beforehand that mullets are grounds for ridicule.

Also, does Hall's firing pave way for HBK to be brought in as part of the NWO? I know they didn't want him before, but let's face it with Hall gone the angle will be on life support.

Which story is funnier??

Scott Hall or the mullet.

Anyone think Hall, Nash, XPac and Triple H will do a group hug?

No Hall being fired is not a joke here is additonal confirmation.

The WWE web site has confirmed that Scott Hall was released after the show last night. Hall was a mess on the European tour, and was up to about strike six."

This is bittersweet news. I think it's a shame that Hall was fired, but I can't stop laughing at the mullet shit. How the hell do you cut one off and keep it intact? This would be useful knowledge to have. How the hell did he stay asleep through it all? I don't have a mullet, but I think I would kick every ass on the plane if someone cut my hair in my sleep. Maybe Angle cut the mullet in preparation for the PPV. I'm going to listen to Wesley Willis's cut the mullet song.

First of all, Mike Hayes should thank whoever cut that ratty mop of hair off of the back of his head. He looked like a flaming dipshit with a mullet. The only man who will ever be able to pull off a "Respectable Mullet" is Eddy Guerrero! ;p

Second, I think it sucks that Hall is gone. Sure, he's not as great as he used to be in the ring. But this fucks up RAW's biggest angle. I honestly don't see a point in even calling the group 'nWo' anymore. Plus, I have to harken back to my nostalgia and cite that I was a huge Razor Ramon fan as a kid/teenager...so I hate to see one of my all-time favorites go. There's no excuse for his condition, but some people don't know how tough it is to be in that situation. Especially when he's constantly ridiculed and humiliated for a problem that's fucked up his whole life. Well, I hope he at least didn't squander any of his nWo money from WCW's cash-in days. =\ I look forward to seeing him on NJPW soon enough anyways. :)

I expect a Kevin Nash face turn out of this for some reason.

Yes!!! Wesley Willis rules! They should bring him on WWF/E tv. He would be a charsimatic and unpredictable character and it wouldn't take any acting on his part. Wesley Willis and Sports Entertainment are a perfect match!

Hey, Mike Awesome's mullet was tremendous in his days in ECW.

As for Flair, they never actually stated that he was an nWo member. His music, not the nWo's played.

Hall can't be fired! he dosen't even work for the WWE! he's nWo remember! he can invade RAW whenever he deems fit! somethings wrong here.

Guest Ravenbomb

My...My God...C-Bacon is right! WWF (I refuse to call it WWE) is trying to swerve us! I expect an invasion like when the nWo first started, then Scott Steiner, then Goldberg. If not Goldberg, then a returning injured guy who wasn't drafted.

INDEED!!!!

I actually had Hall being fired within 6 weeks. I had absolutely no faith in his chances of reviving his wrestling career and I am surprised he lasted this long. Good. Now, maybe the WWF will recognize bringing in has-beens is not the solution to their problem and that these guys are more trouble than they are worth.

Unfortunately for those that think Vince should retool, he just did retool, and it would be pretty silly to drop over a month of storylines over the firing of a lifetime midcarder.
