Ever Since The Split Of The Rosters, It Doesnt Really Seem Like Theres Any Reason For The Tag Team Division.  Billy And Chuck Have Been The Champs For About The Last 3 Months.  The Only Real Tag Team Left Is The Hardyz And They Dont Even Wrestle Together Much Anymore.  Come On, Maven And Al Snow, The Hurricane And Rikishi?  Why The Hell Are Rikishi And The Hurricane Teaming Together?  They Have No History As A Team.

I think Billy and Chuck should keep them until the WWE manages to throw together another decent tag team.  Personally, I'm a fan of ChuckaBilly.  The added element of Rico has just made them click completely and the fans are responding to it.  A lengthy reign will do everyone a favor.  And with the roster as bloated as it is--and with all of these undercard guys not doing anything right now--it shouldn't be too difficult to form 3 or 4 viable contenders for the belts.  That's a tag division, for all intents and purposes.  They really need to make the tag belts a part of both shows, though.

To get back on topic:

 

The tag titles are no more insignificant as the others.  Let's examine:

 

Hardcore title:  um...yeah.   every night sees 4 title changes.  this belt somehow got worse.  remember when RVD held it?  people looked forward to the matches.  now it's the worst belt in the company.

 

Cruiserweight title:  I guess its going ok.  They got a ppv match...which is an improvement.  If they get on at Judgment Day...maybe things will be ok.  Misterio is coming.

 

Tag Team Title:  Long running title holders = good.  The fact that the only other real tag team isn't even on the show with the titles = bad.

 

European title:  Dlo vs. Regal could work.  but Spike Dudley?  belt is almost meaningless... but almost is better than alot of them.

 

IC title:  That long RVD reign everyone wanted lasted a WHOLE MONTH!!!  Don't worry...they'll hot shot it right back to him at Judgment Day.  If they give him a long reign now...it won't matter.  They already killed the illusion of the belt (or RVD) having any meaning.

 

Undisputed title:  HHH successfully defended it 1 time...and he pinned his girlfriend.  Then he lost to Hogan...whos facing Taker...ok...maybe this is worse that the hardcore belt.

 

AND:

 

THE BEST TITLE IN THE COMPANY:

 

The womens title:  A credible champion with a long reign.  Hot matches.  Hard workers.  I care more about this belt right now than any other in the WWE.

It's true.  And when Trish does get the title, which she inevitably will, it'll actually mean something.  The whole company--bookers, writers, wrestlers, management, etc--could learn a lot from how the Women's division has been handled since they decided to push it again.  The only real problem is the same one facing the Tag division right now: a lack of viable contenders.  Last week, Trish fought Molly on Heat and Jazz on RAW.  Both were decent matches, but it's going to get tired sooner or later because those are the only two women's matches we ever get to see.  Where's Ivory?

 

Uh...tag teams and stuff.  There, I'm not off topic.

Couldn't have said it better myself on Smackdown however there are pleanty of people who are doing nothing and could get re worked into a tag team until then Billy and Chuck better not loose the belts to some spur of the moment team like Hurricane and Rikishi or that would not only piss everyone off but greatly devalue the title

I've been a huge fan of Chuck & Billy for a while now, even before Rico joined them.  Mave & Al Snow as champs?  I'll pass.

 

And I actually kinda like the "No Spaces Needed" gimmick.  Keep doing it.  Seriously.

Though I would love to see Storm and Christian pair up, I've never been a big fan of taking random singles wrestlers--Rikishi and the Hurricane; Scotty II Hotty and Albert (yes, I know they disbanded, but that's irrelevant)--and making them tag teams. As it has already been suggested, why not have the tag champs appear on both shows? (Why not have ALL the title holders appear on both shows?)

 

As for new tag teams, just start pairing up OVW and HWA guys and call them up. I know this is just pairing singles wrestlers together, but since I'm largely unfamilar with those guys it wouldn't bother me, plus the average fan would have an easier time accepting them as an actual team. If they go this route, make sure they include that Ron Waterman guy. He isn't getting any younger, ya know.
