Guest Kojack Posted May 10, 2002 Report Posted May 10, 2002 I have to say heat. Eventhough its for mid and low carders and its only an hour long it has qualitly matches and best thing of all no Vince, Hogan, Taker, and Austin doing some 20 min promo and a horrible 15 min match. Also they have awsome matches for example i watched a D'Lo vs Eddie Guerro match and it was awsome! Good mat skills and very entertaining. Also people like RVD ,Mr.Perfect (I like Mr. Perfect) D'Lo, and Guerro makes heat very entertaining. Only problem is that is shows too many things that happended on Raw that uses valuable time and thats what Excess and Live wire is for, showing what happended on the prevoius shows not heat. Well heat also has some bad wrestlers like Bossman but its worth it instead of watching a damn long promo. Heat is good!
Guest Repo Man jr Posted May 11, 2002 Report Posted May 11, 2002 For some reason Heat still isn't on in the UK, Which to be honest, REALLY TICKS ME OFF!!! (Sorry for the strong language)
Guest Posted May 11, 2002 Report Posted May 11, 2002 Raw is the WWE's best show, in my opinion... Why? BECAUSE THE UNDERTAKER IS ON IT! TAKER = RATINGS BA-BAY! This has been the Taker Mark
Guest Will Scarlet Posted May 11, 2002 Report Posted May 11, 2002 I will throw in another vote for Heat. The matches are usually superb, even Show/Dust was refreshingly better than I expected. The commentating is better than the other shows(No Lawler, No Cole.) It has even reminded me why I used to enjoy Tommy Dreamer, as he has torn it up on Heat since the split. They even have guys like D-Lo on there, making for a much improved show over the other two.
Guest Posted May 11, 2002 Report Posted May 11, 2002 For me personally, I have to say RAW. I get more excited for Monday Night "Wrestling" then any other. Unless it's a PPV Sunday. I've been watching WWF Wrestling since the 80's. There was always a show on either Monday or Tuesday nights. I remember Tuesday Titans, and If I'm right, Primetime wrestling was originally on Tuesdays before switching over to Monday. Then, came Monday Night RAW in 93 and it's been going ever since. So, I'm almost programed automatically naturally to get ready for Monday nights.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted May 11, 2002 Report Posted May 11, 2002 Metal/Jakked. Even though it doesn't exist anymore, it was the home of great wrestlers like Lance Storm, Hurricane & Chavo Guerrero among others. The talent level on Metal was far beyond that of Heat. Heat usually has one good match, where as Metal was always entertaining throughout.
Guest Brian Posted May 11, 2002 Report Posted May 11, 2002 Has Taker ever drawn a considerable amount of money on his own? Has he ever been a solid long term draw? It just seems like he's always been an attraction even when he was main eventing.
Guest papacita Posted May 12, 2002 Report Posted May 12, 2002 As much as people on this board seem to hate it, Smackdown is my fav. Maybe it's because the WWF uses canned heat on their show (I dunno for sure, so don't quote me on this), but the atmosphere on Smackdown always seems to be livlier than Raw. Smackdown is the one WWF show that I can tune into and not feel the need to turn the channel. With Raw, a lot of times I get up and look at the clock just to see how much longer until the show ends. I hardly ever do that with Smackdown.
Guest The Electrifyer Posted May 12, 2002 Report Posted May 12, 2002 My favourite is also Heat. At first, I was quick to dismiss it, but since guys like Crash Holly and Scotty 2 Hotty have been replaced by actual wrestling. D'Lo, Eddy, RVD, Dreamer, Ravem have been putting on amazing matches. Heat easily wins my vote.
Guest nWoScorpion Posted May 12, 2002 Report Posted May 12, 2002 Heat is a Haven for guys who like watching actual wrestling w/o gay promos for 15-20 minutes, plus Ravens commentary is WAY better then Lawler, cole, Tazz or Coach.
Guest Dangerous A Posted May 12, 2002 Report Posted May 12, 2002 Workrate show- Heat Storylines and characters-Raw Drowning in a pool of it's own blood- Smackdown. It's what happens when Hogan gets your gold.
Guest converge241 Posted May 13, 2002 Report Posted May 13, 2002 Heat and Jakked have been having some great matches, but I still like Raw the best..
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted May 13, 2002 Report Posted May 13, 2002 Heat = great matches? I don't know about that. Decent-to-good matches, but not "great". I wouldn't call Heat the best show. Although there aren't any 20-minute promos, there's a lot of extended re-caps from the previous week, which is worse. Raw was my favorite, up until a few weeks ago. Smackdown has been better than Raw the last few weeks. Metal/Jakked I rarely see.
Guest converge241 Posted May 13, 2002 Report Posted May 13, 2002 Heat = great matches? I don't know about that. im judging on a sliding scale compared to old heat and other WWE stuff
Guest Posted May 13, 2002 Report Posted May 13, 2002 It's got to be Metal for me. Why? Chavo, Hugh, Lance Storm, FUNAKI~!, Val, hell, even Albert's been pretty good lately. Can't wait for "WWE VELOCITY"... now I won't have to get up early on Saturdays.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted May 13, 2002 Report Posted May 13, 2002 RAW - Yes, it has been bad lately, but I'll watch it til the end just like I did Nitro because it is unpredictable at times, always Live and I am just optimistic as hell and waiting on Wrestling by Monday
Guest dreamer420 Posted May 13, 2002 Report Posted May 13, 2002 I love all the shows. Heat and Jakked or whatever it is called now are my favorites because they tend to showcase the wrestlers I want to see, and although they do too many Raw and Smackdown recaps, the matches are much much better.
