Jazz tore the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in her left knee and is seeing an orthopedist in Louisville, Ky., to discuss the pros and cons of surgery. We will know more later today.

 

FUCK. The women's division was really starting to take off thanks to Jazz.

Maybe she'll job to Molly, setting up the Trish and Molly feud.  Trish CAN'T beat Jazz, Jazz has already beat her twice on PPV.  Someone besides Trish has to beat Jazz.

That really sucks. Just when the women's division actually started to resemble something worthwhile too.

 

BTW, you'd think a plague had swept through the WWE (f) according to the Ross Report. Everybody seems to be injured. Let's wish Jazz a speedy recovery.

Uhhh....they need a heel wrestler to carry that title until is it permanently established, and while it's eons more prestigeous as it has ever been, they still need someone everyone hates to hold it.

OK...nevermind, hand it to Ivory, who wins it after Steven Richards turns on Jazz, playing off of the old RTC affiliation. And yeah, let the ball roll, Ivory can be a great heel, and has been.

I've always liked Ivory. That's a good idea. Molly COULD fill that role, though.

I don't think Ivory's anything special. The only women in the division with any talent are Jazz, Molly and Trish (I never would have thought the day would come when I would call Trish talented, but here we are).  Hand the belt to Molly, but, as countless others have said before, I don't know how they plan on keeping this tiny little division going.

Ivory can have some pretty damn good matches and can play a great heel.

Molly is already established in a feud with Trish so Molly should get the belt. Molly takes Jazz's spot as the champ then Ivory can take Molly's spot as the secordary "heel" to the champ.

 

I think Ivory is on Smackdown so they may have to build up a "face" opponent for Molly on Smackdown to get Ivory into the mix with Molly. But of course it's not like anyone remembers that Ivory is on Smackdown so i guess they could send her to Raw and nobody would notice.

Molly beats Jazz, giving her LOTS of credibility because Jazz has dominated and defeated all competition.  This sets up Trish vs. Molly, both have beat Jazz ONLY once, making this match great.  Give them ten minutes.  Ivory and Jackie need to retire and train NEW female grapplers, the division needs credible new blood.

I would rather have the WWF not give Molly the belt because she her new gimmick isn't over enough yet. The belt would help her get over, but her gimmick isn't one of the gimmicks that needs a belt to get it over. This is one of the situations where the split helps. I don't know how long Jazz is going to be out, but they could keep the belt on her a little longer since she's on TV four times a month instead of 8. Depending on how long she'll be out, they might not need to take the title off of her. She could come back in a non-wrestling role, or forfeit the title due to her injury. When she comes back, she can say that nobody ever beat her for her title. I just hope she doesn't have to work to get her heat back.

I really don't want to see Jazz as a face. at least if she'll be cutting promos. She's a good heel and i really can't see her as a face.

In all seriousness, she is extremely talented.  Give her the belt and let's find out what she can do with it.  Trish would work as well, but I'm favoring Molly over Trish since Molly hasn't had it yet.

I'm betting that they go with the Triple Threat Match at Judgment Day and Molly Holly takes it there (face it, a Heel-Heel match sucks 98.4% of the time) and Trish and Molly have a series of Good matches that lead to a Huge "Final Match" at KOTR. Trish finally gets her triumpant victory..then they are pretty much dead in the water after that.

Wrong.  Heels AND faces suck 98.4% of the time.  They are used to draw in marks, not dedicated wrestling fans.  They suck, they just make wrestling look more like a cartoon(thanks to Vince, mostly).

Wow, double figure posts on the women's division. Never thought I'd see the day. Anyhoo, they gotta give the belt to Molly. She's being set up like a watered down female Kurt Angle with her purity and all, so pay it off. But they gotta get more women for the division just for numbers sake, because they are paper thin.

Do they know how long Jazz is going to be out? If it's going to be a while, they should have a women's mini-tournament on the PPV so that Molly can win the belt, but since the division is really only Molly, Ivory, and Trish right now... damn... women's belt has gone the way of the tag belts.
