Guest Risk Posted May 13, 2002 Report Posted May 13, 2002 It's no secret that Kevin Nash is friends with the Natural Born Thrillers, especally Sanders. Sanders has described him as his "mentor" and claims he was very instrumental in the NBT's success. Does anyone else think Nash is grooming Sanders, Jindrak, O'Haire, Palumbo, Reno, and Stasiak as the NEW Kliq? Nash MUST know he can't last much longer, so is he trying to get the young guys in power so they will take care of him in the future? Hmmmmmm.
Guest Anglesault Posted May 13, 2002 Report Posted May 13, 2002 If those guys have ANY power, God help us all. Sanders can't keep that Suck Boat afloat.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted May 13, 2002 Report Posted May 13, 2002 Reno's been released. I'd take a group consisting of Sanders, Jindrak, Palumbo, & O'Haire, though.
Guest Risk Posted May 13, 2002 Report Posted May 13, 2002 Once the stupid split get axed then maybe we can see the return of the NBT. Except for Stasiak, he seems to be doing his own thing. Isn't it weird we all like Sanders, but his mentor is a man we all get pissed at?

Isn't it weird we all like Sanders, but his mentor is a man we all get pissed at? >>> Uh, I wouldn't say we all like Sanders. I think he's an, at best, average worker with decent---at best---mic skills. He's OK---but I wouldn't even rate him as "above-average". -=Mike ...Hell, how did he stay and friggin' Elix Skipper get cut?
Guest buffybeast Posted May 13, 2002 Report Posted May 13, 2002 I have never understood the net's fascination with Mike Sanders. I think he's a mediocre wrestler and has mediocre mic skills.
Guest treble charged Posted May 13, 2002 Report Posted May 13, 2002 People probably like him because he was a young guy that WCW pushed heavily, and that doesn't happen too often.

I think he's a mediocre wrestler and has mediocre mic skills. ...says the Albert mark. No offense, just got a little laugh out of that. Of course, I like Chuck Palumbo, so who am I to talk?

Treble, ok, then I understand. I'm not saying he was a bad wrestler or anything. But the net just puts him on a very high pedestal which baffles me. Spaceman, I loved Chuck when he had his jungle gimmick.

Guest Just call me Dan Posted May 13, 2002 Report Posted May 13, 2002 I liked Sanders from the day he debuted as the new guy with balls. He took Jarrett's guitar and used it, thus prompting Jarrett to return the favor over his head, and everyone else that passed by that hallway where Sanders was knocked him right back out after he returned to consciousness. I thought that was priceless. It was just cool how a guy so green got in the ring and did signature moves and taunts like he knew everyone in the crowd. He's got good ability for a middle sized average looking guy. I don't know why everyone else likes him but I thought and still do think Sanders is a genius.
Guest TheDames7 Posted May 13, 2002 Report Posted May 13, 2002 Mike Sanders is God. I mark for that man almost as much as I do for Bret in his prime. You're all entitled to your blasphemous opinions...but don't let Cubano hear ya Dames - Be-low Average
Guest Tony149 Posted May 13, 2002 Report Posted May 13, 2002 I'm a Mike Sanders fan. I think people like him because he was able to hold his own cutting promos with Ric F'N Flair. Not everybody is able to cut good and entertaining promos with Flair.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted May 13, 2002 Report Posted May 13, 2002 Sanders never impressed me. He has some charisma, but he's not great on the mic or in the ring. The whole NBT group still needs work.
