The law says angle is supposed to win at judgement

On the law last night, they said the plan right now is to have Angle win and cut Edge's hair to freshen up his character on his way to main event status. I hope this is true.

That booking sounds so goofy to me.  I mean, Angle's hair is alredy going so he might as well shave it off.  Add to that it is part of Edge's basic look to have the long hair.  Sounds odd to me.  Besides, how on earth can anyone take Edge seriously at a main event level if he jobs to Angle TWICE and has his head shaved to boot?

 

Edge with a buzzcut look would be almost like Sting.

This is obviously Triple H's doing. He's holding down Edge's hair because he (Hunter) can't stand the fact that anyone would surpass his own hair's glory days, 96-98. (Great. Now I'm making retarded HHH jokes, too.)

 

Well, if that does in fact happen, I guess we can expect Angle to CHEAT TO WIN~! this time around. I don't see how Angle going over Edge twice in a row and cleanly would do Edge any favors.

Maybe the plan is to have Edge go the same route as Jeff Jarrett, a goofy cartoon character who takes on a more serious role after getting his hair chopped.  

 

I can't see that happening though.  Edge's hair is too much of his personality and persona to get rid of it.

I have hard time believing Edge will lose his hair on Sunday.  His long, blonde hair is so identifiably him that he'd look funny without it.  Like someone already mentioned, Angle is already losing his, so it makes more sense for him to lose it.

 

Of course, if Edge is in line for a serious ME push, then maybe the company feels like a new look is in order.

Angle shaved clean would probably make him look younger.  He'd still have the hair, its just kind  of like stubble.  With his bulky physique and his huge neck, he'd look more badass to me.

But as I was posting I began to think how anti-climatic having a balding guy with really short hair anyway get his head shaved.  I mean who would get excited to see the heel actually get something to make him look better?

I can just see both of them losing somehow. Edge would look like an alien without hair. Kurt would look fine, I think. Edge can get his new look, and if Kurt lost his hair, I can just see his face when the crowd laughs.

Edge would look goofier than he does now with short hair.  Jarrett looked more like a badass with short hair, but Edge doesn't have the right face for a bald head.

You guys are forgetting one thing about the Hair vs. Hair match.  The loser almost never gets shaved bald, they just lose most of their hair.  I think Edge would look good with short hair, Angle on the other hand already has short hair, so why have him job?

I think maybe the situation begs for the return of Christian to an actual storyline, like coming down to help Kurt win and cut Edge's hair. Or maybe I just want Christian back on TV

it makes sense for angle to win, as he will be pretty much bald to the hogan level pretty soon anyway.  also, edge needs the gimmick change as he *beyond* stale as the "goofy, fun loving larrakin" to paraphrase cole, and how can that be taken seriously in the main event.  shaving his hair also gives him an edgy quality, and adds another dimension to his character, something he needs to main event.  angle goes over at judgement day, then the new psycho-edge can finally get the win at KotR.  it will mean a lot more if it happens that way, and will have shitloads of heat.
