Guest Posted May 15, 2002 Report Posted May 15, 2002 I can probably name a bunch..but here's what comes to mind immediatly (sp?) Buff Bagwell v. Booker T..During the whole "invasion" of last summer. There was so much hype..the crowd was jacked at the beginning of the show..they put up WCW ring aprons, Arn Anderson and Scott Hudson were on commentary, they had special lights, the works..and the main event is announced..Buff Bagwell v. Booker T. They proceeded to have the stinkiest match I've ever seen, and the crowd let them know it. This match singlehandedly destroyed the whole "invasion" angle...

Brisco/Patterson was bad, but IMO JR made the match semi-entertaining with his Patterson jokes. "His dressing room is disguised as a closet and he just came out of it." That's about as subtle as you can get. Um...any Viscera match sucked. But honestly, Taker Vs Austin was the worst I can remember.

Sid/Taker from WM13 Taker/Kane from WM14 (better on tape though) RVD and Sabu from Wrestlepalooza 98 (that match sucked) Whatever you wanna call New Jack and Grimes from that PPV where they fell off the Scaffold...Living Dangerously I think. Pretty much any of the ones I already mentioned. I tend to block a lot of bad matches out of my memory.

While all of the matches mentioned here were terrible, none of them went THIRTY FUCKING MINUTES without even a hint of anything that might pass for exciting or watchable. By virtue of sheer length, that match gets the nod.

Their match at WrestleMania made Booker T vs. Bagwell look like Flair/Steamboat by comparison

It was like getting punched in the balls for 30 minutes. I thought that when matches would suck that bad they would tell the wrestlers to wrap it up. Whoever neglected to tell Austin and Undertaker this should get fired. After having this crap match Taker is getting a title run. Taker has been involved in a lot of crappy matches lately. I don't doubt that his match with Hogan will be right up there with the others.

It's to be expected in a career that spans over eleven years in the same company, but man...the Undertaker has had some terrible matches over the years.

The worst match so far in a WWE ring was Test-Henry on Smackdown. As far as WWF goes: Diesel/Mabel from SSlam95 Hogan/Andre from WM4 Hogan/Taker from SS91 Show/Kane from KOTR 99 The Doinks match from SS93 That's all I can think of.
