Is rvd an official world champion?

Is RVD a 1 time WWE champion?  I remember a couple of years back, the same happened between Jericho and HHH, and Jericho was never considered to have held the belt.  This time, when Taker won, Lilian said new WWE champion and Lawler then stated that Taker won the belt twice in less than 24 hours.  Does that mean RVD was officially a World Champ?

Well technically the match didn't end when RVD got a 3 count so no RVD shouldn't be considered a WWeee Champion.

Is it just me or would the better booking after the Dusty Finish be to put RVD over clen with the Frog Splash?  That would have been a good SWERVE~!, one that the fans would have liked, but instead the "Dead Reign" continues.

Well......if RVD is considered a champion then Jericho is a 2-time WWF champion and Chris Benoit has also won the title twice. And The Rock is an 8 time champion. And HHH is a 6 time champ.

So no I don't think it counted.

Yeah the match continued so when they announced Taker as the New Champion it was just lillian Fucking up and yes it would have been a cool swerve if RVD hit a frogsplash and won.

Raven was right about Lawler.  He is an idiot.  If a match ends, but then the guy in charge scratches the finish and continues the match, the original win is void.

Yes, I know it's been done before, but only once or twice, and certainly not after it had experienced three monthly title changes.

so much for jericho being a transitional champion...he's held the belt longer than anyone else so far.

IMHO, they could have gone straight from Jericho to the Undertaker without all this, and once HHH blew his face run they could have a heel HHH take the title from the Undertaker.
