So I would assume that Benoit will be heading to Raw now, because I doubt even the WWF/E is dumb enough to do all that and keep him on Smackdown. I think. Anyhoo, Raw isn't exactly rolling in extra talent, so what's the deal. Or is it going to be one of those "Vince hates Austin, so he gives Benoit to Flair to help beat Austin" things.

I wouldn't surprised if they didn't make a big deal out of it, since Benoit was Flair's "welcoming committee" in the first place.  Probably just write it off as Vince letting him have it.

Or they could start an owner vs. owner feud over it and have the split coming to crazy blows already, buuuut...I doubt that.

If they do trade someone, however, I'm voting for Planet Stasiak, just so we can see him get squashed by a whole new crew of superstars.  Bwa ha ha.

I can see Vince letting Flair have him since they are now both heels and are therefore...you know...friends.

Plus they can play up that Benoit wants to take out Austin (storyline wise...Benoit had surgery following his KOTR match against who?  Exactly) and taking out Austin is something that Vince would certainly give Benoit to Flair for.

So if they do that...Benoit can come out looking like a bad ass whos out for revenge.

I'd trade Benoit for RVD.

It makes sense.

Flair hates Austin so much, he'll give up the IC title to have Benoit a part of the Horseman2002 edition.

The trade should be Vince letting Flair have Benoit in exchange for allowing the IC champ to appear on both shows.

My guess is that the Austin/Eddy feud will be shifted to Austin/Benoit with Austin moving to Smackdown and Hogan headed to RAW.

I believe Benoit is still a month away from being at top physical condition. Note that he didn't get very physical last night (not even a crossface, dammit). I'm sure Austin-Guerrero is still on track for King of the Ring, especially since Guerrero is no longer IC champ.

Well, not immediately.  But it does appear to be the direction in which this feud is going.

Benoit. Guerrero. Throw Lesnar in there, and freshly un-retired Dean Malenko and I'd be marking out... if not Malenko then maybe Rhyno?

I've said it before elsewhere on this board... all signs from where I sit are pointing to Lesnar being traded... they practically blew his feud with BR off, Heyman is writing for Smackdown now, and there is more talent to feud with on Smackdown. Like I said, having Brock feud with lowly hardcore division guys is NOT going to work in getting him over as the next big thing

I'm going to have to go with Lesnar also. He isn't going anywhere on Raw and moving to Smackdown would give him alot more midcarders to feud with.

It should be the Undertaker, since Vince wanted the Undertaker all along, but Flair picked him as his #1 pick.  Brock would also make sense now that I read thebigjig's post.

Yeah, move Lesnar to SD so he'll have a multitude of singles titles to feud over.
